-Feyre's POV-

As soon as the portal snapped shut Rhys let the tears fall. I knelt in front of him and brushed his tears away.

"We are going to get her back, she isn't gone forever." I whispered.

A little bird flew over to us, landing on my knee. This was the bird that had attacked Tamlin, I immediately liked it.

"How touching," Beron sneered.

"Shut up Beron, no one needs your snarky comments at the moment, we now know what caused the power shifts, first her arriving then her turning Fae so this meeting is over." Thesean said and I shot him a grateful glance.

"I will have a look in the libraries in my court and see if I can find a way for her to come back Rhysand," Helion told us, Rhys dipped his chin in acknowledgement.

"Why do we want her to come back?" Tamlin sneered.

The bird, Tori I think Sapphire called her, tweeted what I hoped was a string of curses and I couldn't stop my smile.

"She is our family Tamlin, she has been through enough already, she doesn't deserve to have to go through anymore, her world has been nothing but cruel to her and she bears the scars to prove it, we are not being selfish in our wish for her back, none of us want to see her hurt in any way." Azriel said calmly.

Everyone blinked at him in surprise, that was a lot for him to say in one go.

"Azriel's right, now we are going home before one of you says something you can't take back," I cut in, helping Rhys to stand.

Tori flew up so she was eyelevel with me, tweeting something.

"I can't understand you Tori," I told her.

She blinked at me before landing on my shoulder.

"I think what she is trying to tell you Feyre, is that she is coming back to the Night Court with us," Mor said with a grin.

"Can you winnow her Mor?" I asked and the bird flew over to Mor's cupped hands.

Mor vanished and I took Cassian's hand as well and Rhys's, he was just staring at the spot the portal had been.

I gave Thesean and Helion a tight lipped smiled before taking us back to the manor.

As soon as we landed Rhys walked into the lounge and stared into the fire, I looked after him helplessly.

"He was like this after you went back to Spring, nothing we did got him out of it, Amren kicked him out of Velaris at one point and he went to the cabin." Mor told me, Tori on her shoulder.

"I hope Sapphire is ok, if anything happens to her, I will never forgive myself," I told her quietly.

"She's strong Feyre, she will be ok, remember, she won't be gone as long as we think." She told me as she held me close.

I was just about to go to comfort Rhys when Amren burst in.

"Is she here?" She almost yelled.

"A portal took her back," Mor said, gripping my hand.

"This wasn't supposed to happen," Amren groaned.

"What did you do?" Rhys growled at her.

"She asked me if I could send a message to someone in her world using a language, I knew from my home world, I was trying to work it out when the marks glowed and vanished, I think they took her back by accident." She said, apparently not caring about Rhys's anger.
