The lights in the hospital made my head throb. I was feeling sicker than this morning. I watched Teddy storm out of trauma room one. She removed her gloves and a nurse handed her a tablet. "Hey Teddy."

She glanced up from her tablet and smiled at me. "Hey Amelia."

"Teddy can you come here for a second?" I asked.

She walked over to me and sat down. "Everything okay?"

"I'm going to need you to sit here and wait for Meredith's kids to come out."

"Why?"

"Because-"

I hurled all over the floor. Teddy gestured an intern to come over. The intern dropped the supplies they were holding and ran. Bailey came out of the E.R. and grabbed some paper towels. Teddy got on the floor and started cleaning. "Amelia are you okay?" Bailey asked.

"No, Ellis brought home something and everyone got it." I coughed.

"That something would be the flu and strep."

I looked up. Richard was standing in front of me with the kids. "You sure it's just the flu?" I asked, getting up.

Teddy and Bailey continued wiping the floor. "Yes, I'm positive." Richard smiled.

"Aunt Amelia did you throw up everywhere?" Ellis asked.

"As a matter of fact I did."

I picked up my bag and started to head out the door with the kids. "Hey Amelia...do you want me to drive you home?" Teddy asked.

"No I'll be-"

I leaned over and threw up again all over the E.R. entrance. I turned to Teddy as she shook her head. "Okay Teddy, let's go."

I slept the whole ride home. My bones were so achy that I couldn't even move on bit. Teddy pulled into the driveway and got the kids out. I followed them. "Hey, do you want me to stay and help out?" Teddy smiled.

"Nah, that's okay. I don't want you to be exposed to anymore germs." I laughed.

"Alright. Hey don't forget Richard will drop your car off later tonight!"

"Teddy, I can barely remember what happened five minutes ago I'm so sick..."

She rolled her eyes and got back in her car. I took the kids upstairs. Ellis ran right to her parent's room. She slowly opened the door, but I stopped her. "Hey." I whispered.

"I want to go sleep with Mommy." Ellis cried.

I peaked my head through the door. The room was cold and dark, but I could see Derek laying next to Meredith. They were out cold. I shut the door. "Look honey, your mom and dad are really sick. They are finally asleep. How about I come lay with you until you fall asleep." I suggested.

"Okay." she moaned, heading towards her room.

She put her pjs on and hopped into bed. Zola was already asleep, so I tried to keep quiet. I climbed in next to her and stroked her hair as she fell asleep. I told her a story about how when Derek and I were little we would make shadow puppets using our nightlight when we were too sick to sleep. It always seemed to make us tired.

Eventually, she was out. I tucked her in and cracked the door. I checked on Bailey who was watching a movie on his iPad. I headed back to my room where I found Link passed out. Scout was in his crib wide awake. I picked him up and smiled. "Well someone's feeling better."

He laughed a little bit.

I brought him downstairs and sat on the couch. I fed him a bottle as I watched whatever was on the T.V. Maggie came down and asked me to turn down the volume. I rolled my eyes and obeyed. After Scout was done, we cuddled in bed for a bit until it was time for his nap. I laid him in his crib and kissed him on the forehead.

I crawled into bed. The second my head hit the pillow I was out cold. I woke up to the doorbell ringing and someone yelling from outside.

I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my robe and slippers. I walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole. I smiled and opened the door. "Hey, I heard you were all sick so I brought you some soup."

April handed me a big bowl of soup. "I know we are all sick, but please come in." I laughed.

"Eh it's okay, I'm pretty sure Harriet had the same thing a few weeks ago." she replied.

She walked in and sat on the couch. I placed the soup on the counter.

"So anything new?"

"Well," I began, "I slept for twelve hours straight. That's some sort of miracle."

She laughed. "I don't remember the last time I got twelve hours of sleep... I know Harriet doesn't keep me up all night anymore, but between work and home I can't keep up."

"So what's up with you and Jackson?"

"Well...we decided to try our relationship again. I mean I lost Matthew and I can't be alone forever."

"True." I smiled.

After a while, April decided to leave. I walked her to the door. "Look if you need anything please let me know." she smiled.

"I will." I replied.

I shut the door behind me and yawned. All that talking at wore me out. I could hear movement upstairs. It was most likely Derek and Meredith. I began to head towards the stairs when the door rang again. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. "Couldn't get enough now could you Ap-"

I froze up...standing in front of me once again was my mother....
