So I think I came up with my updating schedule...I think I'll update on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, I'm not sure how this is going to work, so we'll see how the next 2 weeks will play out and then I'll change it if needed.

"Hey Austin" The person says and my heart drops.

"Why did you invite him here?" I ask my mom.

"Because you two haven't seen each other in years and I saw his mom earlier, and she said that you two should hang out" My mom says calmly.

"I don't care what his mom said! I can't stand him! He ruined my life!" I hiss glaring at Cameron.

"Austin I'm s-"

"Don't" I growl "Don't you dare say you're sorry, you're the reason everyone hated me in middle school, you made my life a living hell and you think a fucking sorry will fix it"

"Austin! Watch your mouth!" My mom yells, but I ignore her.

"Get out of my house!" I yelled pointing to the door. My mom looks at me in surprise, and walks Cameron to the door, coming in moments later, her face twisted in anger.

"Austin what was that?" She yells "Why'd you do that?"

"Because he's the reason why I acted the way I did in middle school! He bullied me everyday, and he would beat me up everyday, but you were never home to see what he did to me! He treated me like shit! He made me hate everything mom!" I yell tears welling up in my eyes.

"Oh, Austin" She says sadly pulling me into her "I'm so sorry" She says sniffling.

"It's not your fault" I say rubbing her back.

I pull away moments later, telling my mom I'll be home later and walk out of the house, deciding to take a walk to clear my head. I walk to a little park, down the street and sit by the edge of the lake, hanging my legs off of the dock, before I even realize the sun had set, and the stars were shining bright in the sky, I lay back on the dock looking up at the sky. I pull out m phone and check the time seeing it's nearly 11:30, I huff and get up making my way back to my house, and going to sleep.

Wednesday rolls around and I've been doing what Zach told me to do and I can see how frustrated Noah has been getting, she still sits with us at lunch, but only for half the lunch period, the other half she spends with TJ, I'm not sure but I think there's something going on between the two of them and to be honest I'm jealous.

Very jealous.

When the bell for the end of lunch rings, I slowly walk to Chemistry, my heart dropping when I see TJ and Noah, making out in front of the door.

"Excuse me" I say pushing TJ out of my way and walking into the classroom.

"Woah bro! Don't push me" TJ says grabbing my shoulder. I shrug off his hand and turn around to face him.

"Then don't stand in the fucking doorway" I shrug turning around on my heel, and walking to my seat, seeing Noah had been only a few inches behind me. She stands at her seat in front of me, her ass looking amazing in her shorts, my eyes focusing on my desk when she finally sits down. Sarah walks in setting her stuff down on her desk and walking to me kneeling beside me.

"What?" I ask.

"Noah's a bitch" She frowns.

"Yeah, I know" I chuckle "But why do you think so?"

"She's ignored me all week"

"Well talk to her, you two are best friends. She probably didn't mean to"

"Why are you on her side? She's been the biggest bitch to you" Sarah asks in confusion.

"I don't know" I shrug "I guess it's because I know who she really is and that what she's doing is just a phase"

"You're probably right" She nods standing up and taking her seat next to Noah.

I zone out in class until I heard my name being called by the two girls in front of me.

"What?"

"We are working in groups" Sarah says and Noah gets up to get the papers, coming back and tossing them on the table.

"What do we do?" I ask and Sarah looks at Noah.

"Don't look at me! I wasn't paying attention" She puts her hands up.

"Well then let's not do it" I laugh and Sarah and Noah agrees, and we all sit back and Noah grinning when she looks at her phone.

I bet she's texting TJ.

I walk into my house, seeing Noah and my mom giggling in my kitchen. My bag falls out of my hand, not knowing why she's here or how the hell she beat me here.

"Mom, what's going on?"

"Well, I called Noah earlier and asked her to come over after school, to help me with something, she's also staying for dinner" My mom grins at Noah.

"Great" I say with a fake smile, Noah smirking and sending a wink in my direction. I walk up to my room leaving Noah and my mom downstairs.

I flop onto my and scroll through my phone, my door creaking open and Noah stepping in "Your mom said to come down for dinner"

"Okay" I say standing up and following her downstairs. We take a seat at the table, Mom insisting I sit next to Noah. Dinner is relatively quiet, just the sound of clinking of forks against plates, or putting a glass down on the table.

"So Noah, how have you and Austin been?" My mom asks and my eyes widen. Noah looks over at me, with a smirk on her face.

"We're great. he's such a great friend"

"That's good" My mom smiles, and I look at Noah silently thanking her for not telling her we aren't really getting along. When dinner ended, my mom made me walk Noah to her car.

"Thanks for you know-"

"Not telling your mom, we're not exactly friend"

"Yeah that" I nod.

"No problem" She shrugs and drove home, I walk back into my house seeing my mom standing at the door with her arms crossed.

"So tell me what's really going on with you and Noah"

"What do you mean?"

"I know you guys aren't friends, I can read you like a book, so tell me why you guys aren't speaking" She demands.

"She doesn't like me the way I like her" I shrug and walk upstairs.

Those words, making my heart twist, knowing they are the most truthful words I've ever spoken.
