There's a big time skip, sorry there's no college life writing, but I don't want there to be a lot of chapters in this.

~4 Years Later~

"To the grocery store!" I cheer, getting in my truck and waiting for Zach to get in.

"Thank god. I want food so fucking bad" 

We drive to the grocery store, it only taking 10 minutes and we walk inside, Zach and I go in different directions, each taking half of the list. I walk to find the milk, and right when I'm about to grab it, a body runs into mine.

"Oh shit. I'm sorry" The guys voice trails off. He looks at me, as if he's studying me or something.

"It's fine man" I grab a gallon of milk.

"Hey, do I know you?" The guy asks.

"No, I don't think so" I shake my head "But uh, I gotta go though" I turn on my heel trying to find the rest of the items I need.

When I get everything I need, I find Zach seeing he's already waiting in line. 

"Got everything?" He asks and I nod, sitting everything up on the counter. The lady rings up all of our stuff and I pay, and we carry the bags back to my truck and drive home.

As we drive home, I can't stop thinking about that guy, who was he? Why did he seem like he knew me? 

"Austin? What's wrong?" Zach asks.

"There was this guy in the store that asked if he knew me, but it seemed like he did actually know who I was" I tell him.

"What did he look like?"

"He looked like someone that would be in a punk band or something" I shrug.

"Well, don't worry about it, he was probably just mistaken"

"Yeah, maybe. Let's put the groceries away" 

It takes us about 20 minutes to put all the groceries away, and when we finish I plop down onto the couch, Zach doing the same, his eyes glued to his phone as he texts someone.

"Who are you talking to?" I ask him.

"Noah, remember her?" He teases.

"Yeah" I sigh "I remember her"

"I'm surprised, you haven't talked about her in three years"

"Well, I've finally come to the conclusion that I'll probably never see her again, so I got over it" 

"But not over her" 

"I am over her" I object.

"Sure, I'm pretty sure if you saw her, you'd realize you're not over her and like try to suck her face or something" 

"Not true" I shake my head.

"Okay, then I'm going to skype her right now" He says pulling out is laptop and skype calling her. 

"Hey Zach" She smiles "Austin" She bites her lip.

"Noah"

"Baby Girl, I miss you" Zach pouts and Noah giggles, the sound igniting a fire in the pit of my stomach.

"Zachary, I miss you too. I miss all of you" She smiles, and in this moment I realize I'm not over her, I'll never be over her, she was, is, and forever will be important to me. 

"How was college?" Zach asks her.

"It was good, glad it's over. I'm not too proud of my choices" She frowns.

"Why?"

"I nearly killed myself because I became so dependent on drugs and alcohol to solve my problems. It was awful but I made it and graduated" 

"I'm glad you're all good now" Zach smiles.

"Me too" She sighs "What?" She asks the person behind her "It's Austin and Zach"

"Hi guys!" Sarah jumps onto the bed behind Noah.

"Hi" Zach and I wave.

"Austin! Where's your mom? I miss her" Noah giggles.

"She moved out a while ago, but she probably misses you too" I chuckle.

"Are you still with TJ?" Zach asks and I hold my breath awaiting her answer.

"Yes" She nods, and that's when I get up and leave, ignoring Zach calling for me to come back.
