When we walk into Zach's room, some guy runs past me and out of the room so quickly that I couldn't see his face.

"Uhhh? What?" I mutter completely confused.

"Uh I'm Alex and I'm gonna go see what that was about" The short one says quickly and runs out of the room.

"Noah, this is Robert, Robert this is Noah" Zach introduces us.

"Hello m'lady, it is a pleasure to be in the presence of such a beautiful human" He smirks and kisses my hand.

I can't help but giggle "Cute"

He stands back up straight and looks at Zach.

"Let's go swimming!!" Robert yells before running down the steps and to the pool.

"You have weird friends" I whisper to Zach while shaking my head.

"And you are included right?" He asks with raised eyebrows.

"Of course not" I laugh before punching him in the stomach lightly and running to the pool. As I run I slip off my clothes leaving a trail before diving into the deep end if the pool. When I reach the surface I see Alex walking to the pool with Sarah in his arms.

I remember how that was Dylan and I.

I mentally sigh and motion for Sarah to get in the pool. She quickly takes off her sundress before jumping into the pool.

"So you and Dylan?"

"Yeah, I mean Mia told me that he was making out with Melanie and I just couldn't deal with him anymore" I say and she nods.

"Noah?" Robert calls and I turn to face him.

"Yeah?"

"Are you going to homecoming still? You know with the whole Dylan thing?" he asks.

I shrug before sighing "Well it's 2 months away so I have time to find another date"

He nods before coming closer "Do you maybe think Mia would go with me? I mean she's really pretty and I would love to go with her"

I shriek happily before clearing my throat "Sorry, but I know for a fact the Mia would go with you, trust me" I say and he nods.

"Thanks"

After a while I get a call from my brother telling me that I had to be home.

When I got home no one was there so I didn't see the point in going home. I begin to think back to Zach's house. Who was that guy? Why did he run? What was his name? He had really nice hair.

A knock on the door interrupts my thoughts. I quickly walk to the door and gasp at who it revealed.

Dylan, a sad looking Dylan with bloodshot eyes and disheveled hair.

"Um, Hi" He whispers.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I ask and open the door wider to let him in.

"I really need to talk to you"

"Okay about what?" I ask as we sit down on the couch.

There's long silence and I can sense that he's nervous about something. I put my hand on his knee as reassurance and he looks down at it before meeting my eyes.

"I'm so sorry" He whispers "I don't know why I did it, I guess that I've always been one to test the limits and I always tested yours, but I never thought you'd break up with me, And no I'm not going to be one of those douche bag exes that will lie and say that I dumped you to keep my reputation because I don't need it, but really all I'm asking for is your forgiveness, because after all we've been best friends since you moved here. I'm not asking for you to take me back, I'm asking for you to think about it, I really don't want to lose you and I'd do anything even if it meant that we'd have to start over, as just best friends, I just... I need you in my life no matter how and I don't care how I'd have to keep you as long as I can keep you" He breathes out tears flowing down his face.

I pull him into a hug and he cries into my shoulder.

"We can try again, but this is your last chance and I mean it this time" I say sternly and he picks his head up from my shoulder.

"Really?" He says and I nod "Oh my god! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He screeches and kisses all over my face.

"Yeah yeah" I mumble and playfully roll my eyes.
