So I got home yesterday and I unpacked all my shit, and I can't find my laptop charger, and I have like 25% #Fuck

"Austin? Do you have all your stuff packed?" My mom calls from downstairs.

I take one last look around my room, the walls stripped, boxes piled to the ceiling and sigh "Yeah, everything's packed"

"Okay, well come down here and get ready. Graduation is in an hour" 

"Okay" I sigh, and walk out of my room and down the steps.

"You look nice, now put your cap and gown on" She says handing them to me.

I put them in, and her eyes begin to water "Oh my god, you're not a baby anymore" She cries, her mascara running down her face.

"Mom, stop crying" I tell her softly, and she wipes her eyes.

"You're right, come on, we don't want to be late" She shoos me out the door and we walk to the car. We drive to where the graduation takes place and my mom drops me off at the front.

"I'm going to go park, I'll see you after" 

"Okay mom" I nod and walk in to where everyone else is.

"Austin! Hey" Alex says running up from behind me.

"Hey" I smile.

"So are you leaving tonight?" He asks and my smile fades.

"Yeah" I weakly nod.

"That sucks, and to think you never made it official with Noah" He nudges my arm.

"Yeah, and now I probably won't get a chance to" 

We walk into the building immediately finding Zach nd Rob, we walk over to sit next to them but a voice stops us.

"Okay everyone! In alphabetical order! We're starting soon" 

We all line up, surprisingly it didn't take that long for everything to be perfect. 

"Alright, let's go make it happen" Our superintendent claps and leads us out of the back room.

It's go time.

I watch as everyone gets called, I watched Noah as she walked up, her bright smile making my heart feel warm, then it was Alex, then Zach; with a few people in between obviously and before I knew it, I was being called.

"Austin Carter Mahone" I smile and stand up, walking up the stage to get my diploma.

"Congratulations Mr. Mahone" The Principle shakes my hand and I nod.

"Thank you" I walk off the stage and back to my seat. 

I'm not a high schooler anymore.

"Hey Austin, congratulations" Sarah hugs me.

"Thanks Sarah, you too" 

"Sarah, I'm leaving. Meet me at my house if you're still coming with me" Noah grabs he arm.
