His biggest nightmare came to life before him, when he finally came back with a bunch of snacks he just had fetched up in San's family's kitchen. Everything fell from his arms when his eyes crossed the path of San and he let out a squeak in pure fright. He slapped a hand for his mouth and tears were already welling up in his eyes when he got closer to what earlier had looked like San. He definitely didn't look like himself now. This was Satan's work.
"W-what happened!" Wooyoung stuttered and took another step toward San, who without any emotions on display twitched with all of his nerves in his body as if electric waves went through him unstopping.
He glanced down at the older's harmed arm, and gasped loudly, reaching for the injury and looking back up at San's flooding eyes.
"Sa-san tell me-"
A hand interrupted Wooyoung's words, suddenly gripping him tightly around his wrist. Wooyoung widened his orchid-colored eyes in shock when the other squeezed him a little too tight for his liking, and he gulped nervously. Wooyoung didn't know what to do at that moment, as his world just crashed in front of him. At some point, he felt energy pull his eyes down at San's bloody arm, yet again. He heard the words before even having the chance to read them.
I will kill you.
He squinted his eyes in horror at the realization, "San w-why did you send him that?"
The boy didn't answer him, instead, he stared down with a deeper intensity at the younger. How he appeared not to be freaked out by the state he saw San in right now stunned Wooyoung. An uneasy feeling settled instinctively down in him and his nature, this wasn't normal, even when using magic. And it certainly never happened either when they had done any of the forbidden spells. Splotches of the dark liquid started dripping from the elder's eyes, and it made Wooyoung want to throw up, flee from here, and never look back again, as well as it made him want to dry the substances away from his cheeks as were they tears. San just didn't cry.
"He hurt you," the boy whispered, lips only gracing the words at the slightest.
Wooyoung's blood ran cold as he stopped in all his tracks, lips already trembling. The older one drew in a breath, and Wooyoung widened his eyes, even more, when every single light from the candles in the room went out. A wind blow made the door smack close at the top of the stairs.
Frantically he tried searching for answers again in the dark glistening eyes before him, but he already had the acknowledgment.
"San, please calm down, I-I-"
He leaned in closer to the younger, bending his head slightly and casting a cloud of his hot breath across Wooyoung's skin like a dangerous spell. San smirked and placed his lips on the sensitive spot behind his ear.
"But he deserves to be punished, don't you think? No one should hurt you,"
"Jagiya."
Wooyoung gulped, his heartbeat was drumming aggressively in his chest. He shut his eyes when the tingles sent him shudders down his spine and the golden letters began glowing across his cheek, mirroring San's own.
I am a risen from the ashes
Then Wooyoung parted his lips, "No... "
San moved his lips down and let go with his hand around Wooyoung's wrist and placed it around his hip instead, "No? Then what?"
