I got back home from my shift with a plan I was going to get dressed and take Carlos to see his favorite movie since it was playing
"Hey babe ." Carlos said getting up from the couch
"Hey get ready ." I said kissing him
"For ?" He asked
"You'll see just trust me ." I said running upstairs to get changed
I got in a hoodie and some adidas sweat pants heading downstairs
"I'm ready ." Carlos said waving the keys
"Good you go the keys because I'm driving ." I said grabbing them from his hands
"Alrighty." He said following me
We got in the car
"Can I at least know where we're going ?" Carlos laughed as I backed the car out of the driveway
" we are going to see you favorite movie it's playing and then imma take you to you favorite taco cart ."
"You remembered my favorite movie ?" Carlos asked looking at me
"We're married I'm pretty sure I would remember your favorite movie ." I said laughing

After the movie me and Carlos walked out
"Thank you for this t ." Carlos said holding my hand
"Anytime how about some vegan tacos ?" I said pointing to the taco cart across the street
"Sure ."
We got our tacos and sat down at the picnic table
"So why do you like that movie so much ?" I asked out of curiosity
"I don't know I watched it with my mom so I think it's sentimental sorta ."
"That sounds nice .."I said
" but honestly thank you for tonight it was a lot of fun ."
" I enjoyed spending time with you ." I said as we got up and headed back to the car getting in
I was glad to just get a night with Carlos to do something fun
