I was covering Nancy's shift I had just pulled up to work walking in heading to the truck
"Hey cap ." I said helping her restock the bins
"Hey have you seen Nancy she has a shift ?" Tommy asked looking at the entrance
"I'm covering for her she has something to do tonight ." I said getting the gauze and putting it in the truck
The station Lockdown alarm started going off
"What's going on ?" Marjan asked as we all came to the kitchen
"Bombs are being dropped by planes all over Austin the towns are in lockdown ." My dad said as all of us stood inn disbelief
"But we're a fire house?" Judd said
"At the moment we're not all firehouses are shut down until there's a hour without a bomb dropping ." My dad said
"Go close the doors and window ." He said once again as we all did so
"So what do we do now ?" Paul said
"Go call your families friends make sure there okay and restock the trucks this is gonna be a hell of a shift ." My dad said
I messaged Carlos

After u messages Carlos I headed back to the truck with Tommy
"Everything good ?" I asked her
"Yeah there just scared ." She said
"Why don't you go FaceTime them I got this ." I said
"Are you sure ?" She asked
"Yeah go call your kids ." I said hopping in the truck to finish stocking it
"Great it's raining ." Mateo said as thunder struck
"I can't wait till This shift is over ." Judd said rolling his eyes
"It's just the beginning." My dad said
