Tk and I sat in the office waiting to be called back to meet or potential daughter
"Tk Carlos we are ready for you guys ."
We followed her back to a room
"Okay you guys have 2 hours just be calm and enjoy your time." she said opening the door and closing it behind us when we were done
We walked seeing a girl doing a puzzle as she looked back at us
"Hi I'm Tk .." Tk said sting down next to her
"And I'm Carlos ." I said sitting next to Tk
The girl didn't really respond for a little
"Ellie." She said looking up at us
"That's a pretty name ." I said looking at her
"Ellie if your comfortable telling me how old are you ?" Tk said looking at her
"Four ." She said looking up
She went back to doing her puzzle for a little bit as we just watched
"I think this is the piece you need ." I said giving her the puzzle peace
"Thank you .." she said
"Can I ask you guys a question?" She asked looking up at us
"Sure ." Tk said
"Are you guys gonna be my new parents ." She asked
I looked at Tk as he smiled nodding his head
"We're gonna try sweetheart." I said as she got up hugging us both
*a few hours later *
"Do you guys need to keep looking at kids or would you like to go through with the adoption of Ellie ?" The woman asked us
I looked at Tk then back at the lady
"Go through with the adoption of Ellie ."I said bringing a smile to my face
"Okay well start the process right away ." She said
