I was watching Ellie outside with Carlos watching her dance around the yard

"Are you guys watching ?" Ellie said as she spun around

"We're watching bug." I said

"She's so cute ." Carlos said laughing

"She is isn't she ." I laughed

"Imma get something to drink do you want anything?" Carlos asked getting up

"Uh no I'm good thanks ." I said watching Ellie

I watched Ellie as the time grew longer

"Wheres papa ?" She asked

"He went to go get a drink Imma go check on him real quick okay ?" I asked

I came inside seeing Carlos on the floor leaned up against the cabinets

He was having a asthma attack

He was holding his neck I tried to dodge the broke glass on the floor

I grabbed my medical bag going back to Carlos

"Los I need you to take 2 pumps of this and than hold it and release can you do that ?" I said removing his hand from his neck as he nodded gasping for air

Ellie came in

"Papa?" She said

"Ellie papas okay watch the glass." I said pointing to the glass as Carlos finally caught his breath

I helped Carlos up

"Hey why don't you go lay down for a bit ." I said

"Ellie can you go with papa upstairs and keep him company ?" I asked

"Yeah!"

"Thanks bug ."

I whispered into Carlos ear

"Here take this incase it happens again remember two pumps and hold I'll clean up down here and I then bring you something to drink okay ?" I said wrapping the inhaler in his hand as he nodded slightly

I got the broom and started sweeping up the glass then tossing it into the trash getting Carlos a water and Ellie a juice box

I came upstairs

"Hey how you doing ?" I asked

"Better ." He said laughing as Ellie painted his nails

"Yeah I can see." I laughed

"Daddy can I do your nails next ?!" She said

"Sure bug ."

" Yay Pick a color !"

"Here ."

"Ooooo yellow yay !!" She screamed as she blowed on carlos nails

Carlos looked at me as I smiled
