I drove back to my dads house to pick up Ellie I knocked on the door

"Hey how's he doing ..?" My dad asked

"He's gonna be okay .. but can we talk ?" I asked as he stepped out of the house

We sat on the steps

"I'm sorry about the other day at the station ." I said looking at him

"I'm just worried with you being off your meds last time this happened it didn't end well..." my dad said

"I'm ..I'm in my meds dad I started taking them again ." I said looking at the street

"Are you gonna be okay with everything with Carlos?" My dad asked me putting his hand in my shoulder

"Yeah I'll be fine ." I said laying my head on his shoulder

The door opened slowly I turned around seeing the Michelle was holding Ellie

"Daddy!" Ellie said as I got up to pick her up

"Hi we're gonna go see papa okay ?" I questioned her

"Yah!" She said

"Thank you guys for watching her really ." I said

"Anytime ." They both said heading back inside

We go to the hospital I opened Carlos's door as Ellie ran in

"Papa..what happen?" She said as she stoped running

"I got into a accident but I'm okay sweetie ." Carlos said as I leaned against a wall

"Come here it's okay .." Carlos said as he lifted Ellie on the bed

I came to go sit next to Carlos bed as Ellie asked

"Are you gonna be okay ?" Ellie asked as she was about it cry

"Hey don't cry imma be just fine and I get a little time off work so I get to hang and play with you ." Carlos said whipping her tears

"Really?" Ellie asked

"Yeah sweetie ." Carlos said looking at me

"Imma go get you signed out ." I said leaving the room

*Later that day *

I was getting ready for work and came down to Carlos playing with Ellie

" I have work are you sure your gonna be okay here ?"

" yeah I'll be fine don't stress ." Carlos said as he kissed me

"Okay Ellie be good for papa." He said bending down to kiss her

"Love you daddy." She said

"Call me before bed okay ?" I said walking out
