Me and Tk arrived at the jail parking lot as I stared at the building
"Hey you don't have to do this "Tk said grabbing my hand
"I know I think I just need some closure ." I said
"Do you want me to come in with you ..?" He said
"He ruined my life when I was younger I'm not gonna give him anything else to ruin ." I said as we got out of the car and headed in
"Okay I'll wait in the lobby ." Tk said as I got taken back by a lady
she closed the door behind me as my father sat in a chair handcuffed
"Carlitos what a nice visit!" He said
"Don't call me that ." I said sitting across from him
"Well that's no way to talk to your father." He said
"Your not my father you never were ."
"It's been 22 years why all of a sudden a visit did you miss me ?"
"No I didn't miss you you asshole." I said standing up
"I'm not here because I miss you or I want your petty sorry I'm here for closure I want you in my past ."
"I wish I killed you that day ."
" I know you did because your a monster you killed your wife and your own daughter... and you left me mentally bruised for all the stuff you did ."
" Carlos you can't forget me I'll be with you forever." He said
" watch me I'm going to leave you here and I'm going to move on with my life and don't worry I've checked on your years left you still supposed to rot in here until you die so I won't ever be seeing you again ." I said
I closed the door behind me leaving the room heading back into the lobby seeing Tk standing waiting for me
"Hey how did it go .." Tk said
"I got my closure .." I said as we walked out
Tk gave me a smile
"Thank you for coming with me ." I said kissing his head
"I'm glad you got your closure." He said
