First And The Last One

Chapter 6

Anahita's Pov

The moment I stepped into the hospital there was an emergency case so I had to rush. After 2 hrs I came to out of the O.T and was on the way to emergency room when I saw Dev Mehra of whom I did stitches 2 days ago was standing outside the emergency room. He was looking at his phone I looked around hoping to see his friend with whom he came  that day but I didn't saw him. I went near him

"Good morning Mr. Mehra "I said while smiling. He looked up from his phone and got surprised by seeing me "Oh, Good morning Doctor Please call me Dev, By the way how are you?" He asked and smiled." I'm good. How's your injury now?" I asked him "It's totally fine now. Thanks to you. You really did a great job that day I don't feel any pain now." He said "Mr Mehra - I mean Dev as I told you before you don't have to thank me it was my duty after all and it's good to hear that it doesn't pain anymore and healing quickly"

By the time I finished my sentence his friend of whom I was looking for before came and stand beside Dev. He smiled at me. Looking at him I also gave him a smile. "And here's my best friend I hope you remember him he was there with me that day? " Dev asked "Yeah I remember, Hi I'm Dr. Anahita Roy, nice to meet you" I introduce myself while forwarding my hand for a handshake "Hi, I'm Aditya Sharma, nice to meet you too." He said while shaking our hands. The moment our hands touched I felt shiver ran through my spine and butterflies in my stomach.

I think he felt it too by looking at his face "If you don't mind, Can I say something?" He asked I nodded "You're really beautiful" with a smile he said. I blushed at his comment for a moment I forgot what to say. Many people have told me that I'm beautiful I response by giving them a smile or by thanks. But when he said that I was speechless. "Ah - um -  Thank you I said while blushing. When suddenly one nurse called from the emergency room "I gotta go, see you later, bye guys." without waiting for their reply I entered the emergency room. While walking into the room I looked back at Aditya and found him already looking at me with a smile on his face. I also smiled and turned my head to front.

I was smiling for the whole day and was in a good mood. I don't know what this feeling is but I liked it and want to feel more of it.

Next day at hospital when I settled in my cabin for appointments with my patients. I was going through some reports when I heard a knock and told that person to come in. It was none other Aditya Sharma I got shocked by looking at him, yesterday he was totally fine then what is he doing here. "Good morning Doctor" he said "Good morning Mr. Sharma, Please have a seat." I said "Please call me Aditya." he said "Okay, so what brings you here is everything fine?" I asked him "No, Actually I'm having stomach pain from yesterday and in the night I puked too and right now I'm having a little fever too." he said while touching his forehead "Do you feel nauseated and become dehydrated too?" I asked him getting to the point "Yes Yes, both happens." he said with confidence.

By looking at his face I can tell that he is lying because people suffering from these symptoms cannot sit properly. These are the symptoms of loose motion in which the stomach pains so badly. But by looking at him sitting properly with confidence and totally fit I can tell he is not having any problem.

I sighed decided to go with his little act I wrote some vitamin tablets not any medicine of loose motion because I know he is not going to buy them but still.
"By looking at the symptoms it seems like you're suffering from loose motion. I've written some medicines. Take them 3 times in a day after meal." I said and gave him the prescription during this whole time he was looking at and after that he left. I've to know why he is doing all this and what's the reason behind it?...
