First And The Last One

Chapter 4

Anahita's Pov

That was weird totally insane. That person was something different. I don't know why I'm saying this but he was really different. The little moment we shared through our eyes was beautiful it was one of those moments which I can't forget even if I want to.
I felt like we are in different world in the that world in which we both exist only no one is there is to disturb us. But whatever this feeling is right now I'm too tired to sort it out I just wanna go home and sleep.

After coming out of the emergency room I walked to my cabin after changing into casuals from surgical uniform and collecting my things I left for home. Parking my car in the parking lot I walked to my apartment and entered in. I sighed loudly. I missed my home alot. After taking shower I went to sleep.

After 4 hrs I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing which is on bedside table. Without looking at the caller ID I received it "Hello" I said in a deep voice because I was so sleepy "Are you sleeping?" person on the other line asked me "Yes, Why did you called me Atharva?" I asked him "I'm back home so I was thinking to meet you today but seems like you're too tired" he said "Today is not possible because I'm gonna sleep for the whole day" I said "What about tomorrow then?" he asked "Sounds good. Tomorrow I'm on leave too" I said "okay done then see you tomorrow" with that he hanged up. I drifted back to sleep.

After few hours I woke and look at the time it was 6am in the morning. I got stunned I literally slept for the whole day. I got up from my bed did my morning routine then started cleaning my house. It's been a week since I last cleaned my home. At 10 o'clock I got message from Atharva telling me that he'll come to my place at 12 pm. At 12 Atharva came with lots of gifts.

"Hi Anahita, How are you? "He asked while entering inside
"I'm good but what are these?" I asked him pointing at the gifts. "These are all for you only." He said while putting them on the couch. "Who told you to bring this much gifts you know very well Atharva that I don't like taking gifts" I said getting irritated. I mean I always told him not to bring a single gift for me but he always do. I don't know why can't he understand me once.

"Sis, This is your Rakshabandhan presents. I know I missed it this time and I'm sorry for that "He said while holding his ears with both hands like a small kid. I smiled at his behaviour" You don't have to say sorry to me it was an emergency so you had to go and I didn't mind it at all but I missed you on that day anyways it's almost lunch time let's go and eat "I said while dragging him to the dining room.

We talked a lot. He told me about his visit to his home and how much his mother missed me I'm so glad to have a aunt like her. Then in the evening at 6pm Atharva left for home. I cleaned the kitchen put the gifts in my walk in closet. After taking a shower I went to sleep.

Next morning I got ready for my workplace after having breakfast I left for hospital...
