Chapter 20

Aditya's Pov

Never in my life I thought I would get to celebrate my birthday with my favorite cartoon cake.

That is only possible because of Anahita.

She had made my life beautiful than ever.

She is the best thing ever happened to me.

Yesterday's events came back flashing in my mind, I can't believe that Natasha can do that.

I know about of her feelings for me back in college days but I always ignored it.

I've to be aware of her activities, I'm afraid she might can do something to Anahita.

After yesterday's drama Natasha looked so angry at her.

I've to warn Anu about her too.

I reached the headquarters, first I've to report about the Bangalore's missing results to the chief.

After reporting I went to my cabin, I was working on the report.

"Hey dude, A very happy birthday." Dev said while giving me small gift.

"Thanks Bro, It's not necessary" I said taking the gift from him.

I unwrapped it and there was a beautiful black color Rolex watch.

"Woah, this is cool." I said showing the watch to him.

"I know, it was dad mom's choice after all." he said

"I'll give them a call at lunch time." I said keeping the watch in my drawer.

"So, how was Anahita's surprise yesterday?"he said wiggling his eyebrows at me.

"You already knew about her plan, why didn't you tell me?" I asked him

"Because it was a surprise." he said shrugging his shoulders.

"It was good though but Natasha ruined it" I said, sighed

"Natasha you mean Natasha Kashyap, our class mate in college days right?" he said while guessing

"Yeah" I said and nodded my head

"How?" he asked getting confused.

I narrated him the whole story from our accidental meet at airport to last night incident.

"Woah, Anahita trusted you that's very nice. She is really a goddess in disguise." Dev said

"That's true" I said smiling thinking about her

"I can't believe Natasha can steep so low" he said

"Mee too, But I'm afraid she might can hurt Anahita" I said shaking head

"Yeah, you're right, alert her about Natasha. We should check her background too for some more information about her." Dev said

"Yeah we should" I said agreeing to him.

We were working, when I took a 5 minutes coffee break.

I glanced at Dev, he was looking at the screen but his mind is somewhere else. I don't know but he look a little lost today.

"Hey Dev, what happened, are you okay?" I asked him

"Uhh, nothing, I'm fine." h said concentrating on the monitor screen.

"We are buddies dude, you can tell me what's the matter? Is it about a girl?" I guessed

He sighed "Yeah" he said

"Okay tell me what's the problem?"
I said sitting on the chair facing him.

"Do you remember that girl, whom we saved from drunkards that night?" he asked

I nodded my head remembering her.

"That girl, lives in my neighborhood Colony. I again met her at supermarket she apologized to me for that day. After that incident her thoughts had been continuously roaming in my mind." he explained the whole situation.

"Oh so this is about that girl."I said understanding everything.

He nodded "By the way, did you asked her name?" I asked him

"Yeah, It's Diya Sinha" he said

I nodded my head. I never knew that Dev also had started growing feelings for a girl. That's cool.

"I don't know whatever it is, she always comes in my dreams, made me restless to see her, I've to ask her why she is doing this to me?" he said getting confused.

"What you'll ask her, that why she always comes in your dream? Why her thoughts have been roaming in your mind? Are you insane? Instead of answering your question she'll ran away from you." I said clearing him

"But why she'll ran away from me?" he asked with a confused look.

"Dude, if you'll ask this type of questions to her she'll get scared of you Yaar. I know you're confused about it but trust me you're falling for her." I said with a smile.

"What falling for her? this can't be possible. I've never had any feelings for anyone." he said not believing me

"That's the truth you never experienced the feeling of love in your till now. Maybe she's the girl of whom you're waiting for this long now she has come but you're not ready to accept your feelings towards her." I explained it to him.

He looked at my face for few seconds

"Soon you'll realize your feelings for her." I said

"Will it happen?" he asked

"Definitely, only if when it is written in your destiny." I said clearing his doubt. He nodded his head agreeing to me.

Soon we were engaged in our respected work.

In the lunch I was waiting for Dev to come, he said he'll join me after 10 min.

After few minutes he came with a file in his hand.

He sat on the chair opposite mine and handed me the file.

I looked at him confused.

"This file contains all information about Natasha Kashyap." he said

I opened it quickly and started going through the details.

"Natasha Kashyap, age 25, daughter of famous business man Manoj Kashyap, her mother Nandini Kashyap died in a car accident when she was 6 yr old, his father abandoned her because of her bad habits like smoking, drinking and taking drugs. He used to send her to asylum for recovery but she always runs away. So he is no longer his dad now. She still use to do these things which have became her habits now." he explained

I sighed "That's ridiculous" I said.

It's really hard to believe that a young woman like her is a drug addict.

"I must warn Anahita about her, I don't know what Natasha can do but me alerting her I can say that she'll be careful about her." I said taking out my phone to call Anahita.

I hope everything goes fine and nothing happens to her.

Nothing will happen to Anahita and I'll make sure of it...
