First And The Last One

Chapter 8

Anahita's Pov

Today I want all answer to my questions, why is he doing this? At any cost I'll get my answers. I was expecting him to come today and he came, When I saw him in the emergency room my doubt got confirmed something is really fishy. I've to find out what it is.

We both were in the hospital's cafeteria with our coffee in our hands. "Let me get straight to the point I don't like to beat around the bush, I'm observing you from yesterday you came with an excuse of stomach pain which you were not having and today you came with a reason that Dev's hand is paining which is also a lie because the day before yesterday he was looking fit & fine and he also told me that he doesn't feel any pain so obviously it's a lie. So tell me why you're doing all this?? "I asked him at one go.

He was shocked at me like he has seen some ghost. Soon he recovered from his expression "How do you know that stomach pain was a lie?" he asked "Did you forgot that I'm a doctor, by looking at the patient's face I can tell that the person is suffering from any problem or not. So it was easy for me to catch the lie." I explained He nodded and lowered his head.

"So tell me Mr. Aditya Sharma, Why you're doing this?" I asked hoping I would get some answers. He looked at me briefly for few seconds "Just to meet you" He said while staring at me I looked deeply in his eyes all I could see is truth and some emotions which I can't describe. "Yes that's the truth I was doing all this things just to meet you I don't know what to say when I met a girl so I came up with this idea." he said looking like a child got caught while eating candies.

I smiled at his behavior "Then you should've told me directly that you want to meet me I could've make some time for you" I said "It was not that easy for me." he said as his cheeks got red. He literally look so cute while blushing I smiled at him wish I could pinch his cheeks but I controlled myself.

I nodded my head understanding what he is saying "If you don't mind, can we be friends?" he asked me forwarding his hand to me. I thought for a second but then I smiled forwarded my hand too "of course, I love to make friends I don't have much friends here" I said "Okay, So from now onwards we are friends" he said excitedly. I giggled at him.

We talked alot, exchange our numbers then he left from there not before telling me that he'll come to hospital tomorrow again to meet me I agreed to him.

Then I left for my work I really hope our friendship turned into something else and I'm eagerly waiting for that day to come when it will happen. I was happy for the whole day, smiling like a maniac. Some nurses asked me the reason of my happiness too I  response them with a smile.

Days turned into weeks and it's been 15 days to our friendship. These 15 days were the best days of my life. I'm glad that I agreed to being friends with Aditya. Friend like him is a blessing to me. Every day he came to hospital to meet me and in the weekends we hang out too. In these days I got to know that he is an orphan which was a big shock to me I can't imagine my life living without my parents but he lived his whole life. It's too difficult.

I got to know about Dev too. They both are college friends and both are intelligence bureau officer, there job is very risky it can cost their life too they didn't tell me much about there work as it is confidential so I didn't ask further. This duo is very funny.I introduced Atharava to them. In the starting Aditya behavior was awkward around Atharava but he got back in his usual self soon.

We 4 become good friends and the relation between me and Aditya got stronger day by day. Our handshakes turned into hugs. I'm very happy at our progress. We both feel comfortable around each other like we are made for each other. I'm happy with this life.

Today me and Aditya had decided to go for movie so I was waiting for him at my home. Everytime I forget to ask him when his holidays are going to end. Today I'm gonna ask him this thing first.
