Chapter 26

Anahita's Pov

Today I reached hospital an hour early because of an emergency case.

The patient's condition was critical so it took me 3 hrs in the surgery. I came out of the OT and went towards my cabin, took my white coat and left for ER to check on patients.

I entered the room and started my work.

I was reading a patient's report when I heard a voice of a person that I was not hoping to meet again.

"Oh, so there you're" Natasha said in a venomous voice.

"What do you want Natasha and why are you here?" I asked her in a calm way while continuing my work.

"What do I want? You very well know that what I want. Pehli warning mei hi maan jao,Stay away from Aditya." she said in threatening tone.

I sighed and closed the file and turned towards her.

"If I don't then what will you do?" I asked her back

"You bitch how dare you to answer me back, you know you're challenging me and I won't hesitate to make your life hell." she shouted at me

"Lower you voice Natasha this is a hospital not your home." I said a low tone

"How dare you to tell me that what should I do, it's my decision whether I want to shout or laugh. You're no one to order me. Do you know who I'm and how will you know because you're just a middle class girl. People like you don't deserve to stand in front of me and you're ordering me. You're just a fucking whore. I don't know what magic you did to Aditya that he is not coming to me - " before she can continue Atharva cut her

"How dare you to say something like that about Anahita. Do you have any idea what are you saying?" Atharva shouted at her

I looked at him with puppy eyes and mouthed 'Please' because this is my issue so let me solve it by myself.

He nodded at me.

"Oh, so he is also with you tell me one thing Anahita how many men you've wrapped around your fingers?" she said while smirking at me

"Are you done? Let me clear one thing to you that you're no one to me of whom I should consider in our relationship. And about other things, currently you're standing in a hospital where you're just a citizen and I'm a doctor here so I've the upper hand and I have full rights to order you to not shout in the hospital. You may think that after this I'll be afraid of you then let me tell you one thing" I took a step ahead towards her

"I don't get scare I make people scared of me. If you pull this stunt again in future then you'll find yourself behind the bars and I'll make sure to keep my words" I whispered in her ear.

She glared at me for good 3 minutes.

"You have pulled the wrong string Anahita, now you've to face the consequences " she said and left from there

Finally she left but her last sentence is still echoing in my mind.

I don't know much about Natasha, I don't know what she is capable of.

I have to be more alert now.

Atharava came to me "Anahita you go and take a break I'll see the patients here." he said

I sighed and nodded my head and left for my cabin.

I entered in my cabin and saw that there is one person who is sitting on a chair opposite mine.

By looking at his back I can tell that he is Adi.

But what is he doing here and that too in morning.

"I'm proud of you" Adi said, his voice broke my chain of thoughts. Did he by chance saw the whole scenario in ER.

He stood up, turned around and came near me.

He took my hands in his and smiled "I'm proud of you" he said again

I made confused face not to understanding what he is trying to say.

Looking at my confusion "I saw everything in the ER and I'm proud of you that how you answered back to Natasha." he explained

I smiled at him, tighten my hold on his hands.

"I never knew that she'll do this, I thought she learnt her lesson from the last incident" he said

"Me too I thought that this is over but I was wrong." I said

"Yeah, We don't know what other things she can do, so we have to be careful about this." he said

I nodded my head in agree.

We talked for some more time and he left from hospital not before promising me that he'll come to my home to meet my parents.

Today's incident was unexpected I never knew that she is this dangerous. 

Whatever it is I'll handle it, no matter what.

People can't win the battle in which they are wrong. So in this case she don't have any chances to win over me.

And I'll never let her win this battle of ours.

Next day Aditya came to my home, we didn't tell anything to my parents about hospital's scene. I don't want them to get worried for me.

He also brought me a watch, it has tracker inside it. I said it was not necessary I can handle.

But he didn't listened to me once.

He said it is for my safety so I should wear everyday.

He also told me about Natasha's background which was very dreadful. I never knew that she is a drug addict. It must be very hard for her dad to accept this thing.

At last I've to agree. I didn't knew that he is this much possessive for me. But it was really cute.

And I'm glad to have a person like him as my boyfriend.
