Chapter 23

Aditya's Pov

I was so tired after coming back from funeral ceremony since Diya has no family so I decided to take the responsibility of the arrangements.

I got up late today and was feeling a little weakness too. I got freshen up and ordered my breakfast because I was in no mood to cook.

After breakfast I felt better.

Anahita didn't call me since yesterday maybe she is tired too or giving me time to rest. She really cares for me.

I called Anahita but she didn't answer it.

Today is Sunday, she must be home then why she isn't answering my call.

I called her again but the same thing happened she didn't answer it.

I was getting worried, I hope she isn't in some trouble.

I called her again but still she didn't answer my call.

I can't wait now I've to go and see if she's okay or not.

I picked my car keys and soon was on the way to her home.

I was driving when my phone ranged it was Dev's call.

I picked it up and put it on speaker.

"Hello" Dev said

"Yeah Dev" I said while taking a left.

"Actually Aditya I called you to invite you in my marriage." Dev said

Till that time I have reached to her home and was about to put the breaks but what he said made me put the breaks suddenly.

"What!!!" I said shocked I mean Dev's getting married how is it possible

"Yeah Aditya" he said

"but why so suddenly?" I asked him not believing him

"I know it's too fast to get married but now I've taken this decision for her so I'm not sure turning back. I'm getting married to Diya tomorrow in the court." he said

"How did she agreed to this? and what about your parents, what did they say?" I asked him still siting in the car.

"It was a little difficult to convince her for this marriage I said it's for her betterment only. She can have a happy life with me I promised her after this she agreed and about mom dad they were happy about my decision after seeing Diya, so they agreed instantly." he explained

"Then that's fine I must say you took a good decision. I'm sure she'll be happy with you." I said smiling

"Sure dude and tell Anahita about this and she is invited too I called her but she isn't answering my call." he said

"She is not answering my calls too I've came to her home to check on her." I said getting out of the car.

"Okay then I'll talk to you later I've so many arrangements to do and make sure to tell her." he said

"Yeah sure, tell me if you need any help." I said

"okay done, bye" he said and hanged up.

I reached the entrance of her apartment and presses the bell.

After few seconds the door open I was about to question her that why she isn't answering my calls but the person in front of me made my mouth shut.

She was looking somewhat similar to Anahita, it's like she is the older version of her.

Then the realisation dawned upon me, it was non other than her mom. Once Anahita had shown me their parents picture.

From that I realise that she is her mother.

She looked at me briefly like she knows me then she smiled at me widely.

I got confused why she is smiling at me. I don't think she knows me only if Anahita had told her about me.

"Aditya Right" she guessed

I got even more confused now, how does she know me did Anahita tell them about me.

"Uhh Yes" I said

"Welcome dear, why are standing outside come in." she said happily

I entered in her home

"Anu, see who's here" she called

"Is Anu is home, then why she isn't picking up my calls?" I asked I thought that her parents also call her Anu that's why I asked her.

"No she is not here, actually I was calling my husband Anand." she said

Then one tall men came in the room and stand beside her mom. His eyes are similar to Anahita. This must be her dad

"Hello Mr. Roy, I'm Aditya Anahita's Boyfriend" I introduced myself to him and put my hand towards him for a handshake.

He also put his hand forward and we shake our hands. He nodded his head at me appreciating.

"Oh so you were calling Mr. Roy I thought Anahita is home." I said

"It's okay, you can call me dad. By the way you also call Anahita as Anu?" he asked

"Yes sir" I said nervously

"What a coincidence her mom also calls me that, why are you still standing come and have a seat." he said smiling at me

I too smiled at him.

After talking to them for a little I got to know that she had told them already about me as she don't hide  things from them and there was an emergency so she had to go maybe she must be busy in a surgery that's why she isn't picking my call.

I was getting worried for nothing.

They came here to surprise her as they miss her only daughter alot. Her dad was so proud of me on how did I get to this position.

I felt like I have a blood relation with them. They accepted me without any query and doubt. They also told me me that I'm their part of family now.

Then the doorbell rang her mom get up to open the the door, it must be Anahita.

When she entered and looked at the scene in front of her, I can tell she is shocked by looking at her face.

She must have not expected this...
