Chapter 25

Aditya's Pov

Right now I'm sitting in my cabin working on a file. It's been 3 days to Dev's marriage after that we got so much busy in our work.

After that day I couldn't make some time to go and meet Anahita, she is also busy in her back to back surgeries.

For the whole day we don't talk but at the end of the day I use to call her just to hear voice because I can't sleep without listening to her melodic voice.

It's been my habit now.

After Dev's marriage he look happy now a days but today he looks a little lost.

I looked at him he was looking at the computer screen but his mind was somewhere else.

"Dev" I called but he was still the same as before.

"Dev" I called him again but the same happened

"Dev" this time I called him and shook him a little to get his attention.

He looked at me "What happened Aditya?" he asked

What happened to me??? I should be the one asking this question to him.

"I'm okay, but what happened to you?Is everything okay?" I asked him

He sighed and nodded his head.

"Yeah everything is fine." he said

"Are you sure? you can tell me what's the matter." I said

He looked at the file briefly in front of him for few seconds.

Then a thought clicked into my mind, maybe Diya and Dev had an argument that's why he is looking lost.

"Is it related to Diya?" I asked him

He looked at me surprisingly thinking how I guessed it.

He nodded

"Okay now tell me what's matter?" I asked him

"Actually I was thinking about Diya's job, before she used to work at call center after our marriage she left that job. Now a days she just use to do the household works and stay at home only. I don't want her to be a housewife I want her to do something maybe for her own, she can apply for a new job for herself that suits her. I want her to become independent." he said

I understand his problem so he wants to wife to be an independent women.

I nodded my head agreeing with him.

"From which course she has done graduation?" I asked him thinking maybe I can help him a little.

"She has done graduation in BFA (Bachelor in Fine Arts)" he said

"She can apply for jobs in magazine and advertisement companies" I suggested him

"Yeah I also told her that but she said she had already applied for jobs in those companies but didn't got any response from them." he said

Then suddenly one person's thought came into my mind

"Do you remember Mihir Dixit?" I asked him

"Our classmate in college?" he guessed

"Yes, he works in a magazine company at HR post through him we can get Diya a job" I said

He thought for sometime then nodded his head.

"But how will we contact him? I don't have his number" he said

"Last year coincidentally I met him at a restaurant we also exchanged our numbers, So I have it" I said showing him his number on my phone

"That's great but there's one problem" he said

"What?" I asked him

"I don't want Diya to know about this otherwise she'll not accept this job. She don't like to take favours." he said

"It's okay, we'll keep it a secret" I assured him.

After that we both got busy in our respective works.

At 10 pm I reached my home and directly went to bed because I've already had dinner in my office only.

Before drifting off to sleep I called Anahita

We talked about our day I told her about my conversation with Dev.

She said she'll also try to get Diya a job.

I smiled at her careful nature.

I asked her about mom dad too she said they're missing me. I promised her that I'll come to meet them soon.

After the call I went to sleep.

Next Day, it was weekend so I thought to surprise Anahita by meeting her at hospital only.

I quickly got ready and left for hospital.

I reached at my destination and parked my car at parking and entered in.

I was looking around in the hospital.

It's been so long since I last visited here.

Before I met her, I use to hate hospitals because of the disgusting smell of medicine.

But now I think it's the best place in the whole world for me.

I was on the way to ER when I heard someone shouting.

The sounds were coming from the ER, I saw doctors and nurses standing in the corridor looking inside the room.

I went near them and looked in the ER to see what was happening.

And what I saw made my blood boil in  anger.

Natasha was insulting Anahita in front of everyone who was present in the room.

She was calling her names, abusing her. Just by hearing those words I wasn't able to control myself.

I thought she learnt her lesson from the last incident but no she loves to dig her own grave.

I clenched my fist. I was controlling so hard to now punch that bitch in her disgusting face.

But what caught my attention that Anahita wasn't answering her back I got confused why she is quite till now, she should've fire back her but why she isn't saying anything.

I didn't move from my place and just watched the scene from there.

I was waiting for her to answer and if she'll not then I'll give her.

After shouting alot Natasha shuts her mouth.

Finally Anahita opened her mouth but what she said made me shocked and happy too...
