Chapter 13

Anahita's Pov

I was going to call Adi to ask him at what time he is coming tomorrow he said that he'll tell me later but he didn't.

So I was about to call him, when I heard the doorbell rang.

At this time who would've come to my home?

I got scared, I don't have any single idea who can be at this hour of night, it's almost 12

I walked to the door and looked through the peephole so that I can see who's there.

It's was none other than Aditya, I sighed in relief that he is here and no one else.

Then I thought what is he doing here at night, there might be some emergency so I quickly opened the door.

The moment I open the door I was engulfed in a tight embrace by him.

I got stunned at his actions and my body got froze for a moment but soon it relaxed and I hugged him back.

For few minutes we were in that position.

I was thinking what brings him here at this hour maybe an emergency, emergency! yeah, I forgot about that totally.

Maybe he is in some trouble that's why he is here.

I started wiggling out from his hug so that I can ask him what's the issue but he is not letting me go.

"Anu stop moving let me enjoy this moment properly."he said still hugging me

"Adi first tell me why you're here? Is everything alright? Is there any problem? Are you okay? Why you're not telling me anything?" I ask him getting panick hoping he would say something

He pulled away from me but still holding me in his arms

"Shhh, Everything is alright and I'm fine as you can see." he said while cupping my face from his right hand with a cute smile.

"Then why you're here?" I asked him totally confused with the situation.

He leaned into me and whispered in my ear

"You'll get to know very soon."

I gave him a confused look. He looked at his wrist watch then left me from his arms, I was already missing his warmth.

Then he went out of the door and came back with a bookey of white roses in his hand and on the other there was a white box which seems like a box of cake.

He put that box on the living room table and then he came in front of me and bend down on one of his knee.

I gasped at his action.

Is he - Is he going to propose me tonight?

If that's what he is going to do then I've already accepted him.

He hold my right hand with his left one and with his right hand he forwarded those white flowers towards me.

"A very happy birthday Anahita " he said with a beautiful smile on his.

Wait a minute it's my birthday, what's today's date by the way, then I realised it's my birthday again I forgot this time, I sighed at memory.

I also bend down on both of my knees, then took the white roses from his hands, he also remember that these flowers are my favorite I smiled at this.

I put them on the table then circled my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly, in less than a second he also hugged me back.

"Thank you Adi, you remember my birthday, Thank you very much " I said with a smile.

" You don't have to thank me, it should be me who should say thanks and that too your mom, for giving you birth and you came in my life. I should really say thanks to your mom." he said.

I pulled away and gave him a lingering kiss on his cheek.

I pulled back and looked at him, he was shocked by my action and looking at me with wide eyes.

I blushed under his gaze started biting my lower lip.

But he smiled at me and gave me a forehead kiss.

I smiled at him.

It was just perfect, everything was perfect, I just want to stop this moment and live in it.

Somewhere in my heart I was hoping that he would propose me and ask me to be his girlfriend.

But I was expecting too much I got disappointed for a moment but I covered it with a smile.

Maybe he don't like me or don't have any feelings for me, whatever it is I let it go for now.

Right now I just want to enjoy this time with him afterall I'm meeting him after whole 2 weeks.

"Come, let's cut the cake." he said I nodded my head excitedly.

He made me sit on the couch and put that white box in front of me on the table.

He opened the box, inside it was a beautiful crown cake and with a cute white bow at the bottom.

I again kissed his cheek as a thank you for this beautiful cake. He giggled at my behavior.

Adi lit up the candles and told me make a wish.

After I made a wish I blown the candles and

I cut the cake fed the first piece to him and he also did the same.

After that we danced a little, we both enjoyed a lot it was an unforgettable moment for both of us.

Then he left for his home not before telling me to be ready at 12 pm tomorrow.

I don't what he has planned for me but I'm so excited for it...

I think I'm falling very hard for him...
