Mphakamseni The Arranged Man
#08
SIBEKEZELO

Morning came and it was the court day. We are outside the court and damn it was packed. I guess who ever linked the story also has an agenda. I'm just grateful of the support I get from Nana and her family. Zubby made time to come support Bongekile, as for Michael he became the brother I never had. Michael is Nana's elder brother.
My family is giving me all sorts of shades and honestly I couldn't careless, they are no longer important in my life.
I see Ndlela walking in confidence with my father on his side, they passed by as if I was invisible. My husband's family is not here, not that I expected them. I just want to sit far away from my family as possible. It's true when  they say 'when days are dark friends are few.'
"All rise in court!"
Everyone stands up and my heart is beating on a 120 accelerator speed heartbeat. I look at him across the courtroom biting his nails with his big eyes wide open. They pulled him towards the podium cuffed.
"you may all be seated." The prosecuter orders.
"Your worship, the case of Christopher Mphakamseni Ngcobo is handled by Mr Sibisi, we may begin. Dube say's and Sphiwe Sibisi comes forward.
"My client here was accused of fraud and was suspended at work with immediate effect without pay. I would like to forward the evidence in court today, this evidence is linked to Ndlela Sibalikhulu.
Some schemes try to win there confidence by claiming they're legal and endorsed by the government. These allegations are false as the government will not allow illegal activity. Mr Sibalikhulu is the CEO of The Amajuba Coporate, he has access to every office. I found these transactions your worship." The lawyer Sphiwe hands the documents to the prosecutor. "In those documents it shows how much Ndlela misuses the funds in the finance. And in this USB, it has a video of him which practically shows how he does his dirty work and who he works with. He manipulates the system, he steal from the company he works for and pins the fault on innocent people. In results they end up lossing their jobs because of him." He further adds.

The video was played on the big screen and the board members were astonished. Ndlela is indeed a corrupt person and to think they trusted him. Bheki and his family were beyond ashamed but they still had pride in them. The scene was made live for everyone who couldn't attend. This was a big case making huge head lines.
"you may proceed." The prosecuter tells Sphiwe the lawyer.
"I plead that justice is administered fairly, this includes punishing those who are guilty of breaking the law and keeping the rest of the community out of crime. That will be all." He steps down in confidence. The case was cut short because of the evidence that has been provided infront the judge.
"With all the information brought forward, as a court we will have to come up with a conclusion. Court adjourned." The prosecuter stamps on the table standing up.
The prosecutor walks out with big files and the rest followed. Phaka buried his face in his hands. This is the most difficult time for him, he knew his family wouldn't be here. But having his mother and wife was enough for him.

SIBEKEZELO

I'm sweating, who knows what they will they say, what is the verdict. With all the corruption that we have in South Africa, our systems are easily manipulated and the culprits always wining. With all the evidence that was brought forward I think it was enough, plus I trust my lawyer. I am looking directly at my family with so much hatred and they seem unbothered. It's fine God is watching and one day he shall remember us. I'm never leaving my husbands side for better or for worse, sickness and in health, for richer for poorer. I shall stick by my vows till the end.
I look at my man and a small smile creeps on his lips, he looks worn out and tired. Who would have thought that one day I will be faced with these predicaments.

BONGEKILE

I may look strong but I'm destroyed on the inside. I fear for my son, what if he doesn't make it? This is just too much for me. God remember me and my son, Lord deka itafula phambi kwezitha zami.

NGCOBO HOUSEHOLD

The noise of joy and excitement was on another level. Watching the case broadcast live on television, it must be something serious.
"I hope he rots in jail. Look at how ugly he is. I can't believe the nerve of that woman bring that disgrace into my house instead of sending it to his father!" Simon roars in anger, the hate he has for Bongekile and Phaka is on another level.
"Can't wait for the big news. Just because he got married he now thinks highly of himself." Muzi snorts feeling jealous. Out of all the woman he could be married to, why that goddess of that woman!
"That's because he is a pussy. I wish Bongekile aborted him to save me from me from being a laughing stock.
"Can it be possible that his not yours?" The youngest son ask with his eyes fixed on the television.
"His not my son!" Simon responds in anger.
Simon wished nothing but bad for Phaka, when ever he thinks of him he feels like puking. The face itself disgust him, good thing his mother divorced him. He can't wait for his new family to move in. The love of his life, the yellow bone that brightens his mood.
"So tymer your wife and kids, when are they moving in?" Sphe asks.
"Kusasa mfana i cant wait. You know I once loved you're mother but fell out of love when she gave birth to Phaka."
"Tell me what did you see in her, she's just plain and black." Muzi adds.
"My eyes deceived me so." they laughed and continued to watch the the TV screen.

IN THE COURT

The journalists were buzzing outside like bees capturing every moment. This story is big and making headlines. People were sitting anxiously waiting for the verdict.
Ndlela was sweating and constantly wiping his forehead, he knew that there was no come back after this. He regrets messing with Phaka. Imagine fighting for someone who doesn't even know that you're inlove with them, and for stealing from her father's company was the nail in the coffin. Maybe just maybe if he played his cards right he would have won her like a trophy that she is.
The prosecutors came back with serious faces with no emotions expressed. Phaka's heart pounded a million times, he wishes the earth could just swallow him this minute. His mother was silently praying.
"With all the information and evidence that has been gathered in court of law, we therefore find Mr Christopher Mphakamseni Ngcobo not guilty of all the charges that were laid against him. The Amajuba Corporate will have to pay a fine of R150,000 within the next 7 days. Failure to do so, the company will be forced to shut down. Court dismissed." Just like that Phaka is a free man. His eyes filled with tears looking at his mother not believing what has just happened. Zelo couldn't hold the hide the excitement on her face. Phaka was beyond happy, happy be free and to even think he was beyond happy that he is finally going to tap that pussy. He smiled looking at his tiny beautiful wife, the love just grew more. He began to have confidence in himself.
People were disappointed, disappointed that a man almost got arrested for a crime he didn't commit!

SIBEKEZELO

When Jesus say yes nobody can say no. I knew that he will remember us, I knew having faith in him will bring the required results. I want to grow old with this man. They say it's a new phase of love and I can vow that I am definitely inlove.
"Jehovah, what will I ever be without my son." Bongekile cries on Zubby's chest. The tears of joy and happiness that her son is finally out. The look in Zubby's eyes, the look that he give Bongekile is a look of a person who is madly in love with someone.
"All is well." Zubby responds rubbing her back like a vase that's going to brake. I find myself smiling and admiring this view.
"We can leave." I say and we all turn to leave to go wait outside for my beloved husband.
Minutes later he comes out all smiles opening his arms embracing me. I don't care about anything else at this moment other than being in the arms of the man that I love.
"I love you." I say squeezing his waist leaning against his chest. This is where my paradise is.
“And I love you more.” He responds holding me tighter.
