Mphakamseni The Arranged Man
#09MPHAKAMSENI
She lost it, she went crazy and was beyond happy. I'm a free man at last and justice has been served. Just can't wait to go home I've missed those home cooked meals. She clinging on my arm as if I will run away from her. This woman right here loved me with all of my flaws, she accepted me as big as I am and I will forever cherish that.
Sounds of cameras flashing taking pictures of us as we leave the court. Journalist stopping us wanting to have an interview and I'm so uninterested. I just want to go home take a long shower and cuddle my wife. There's nothing more than I want other than being in my wife's arms.
"Welcome home my love." She says holding on tight on to me.
"I'm home at last, feels like a dream." Indeed it feels like one.
"You guys need to do a num num now. You've been married for over six months." Nana blurts out. Can't she keep quiet for once!
"WeNana I will seal that mouth of yours with a super glue. You talk too much for a pregnant woman." Bongekile warns her.
"I will help you." Zubby's cheeps in.
"But Phaka needs to tap that velvet." She continues, I wonder what goes on her mind. Nana is an outspoken person, she say what's on her mind. I sometimes think she just talks without thinking, but still stays as humble as ever. Nana gives her opinions about things openly and honestly, even if they are likely to shock or offend people.
I see the game she's playing trying to be doctor love match. It seems as if Mr Zubby is falling for it. You can tell by the way he looks at my mother. I don't know how to feel about this, but all I want is to see my mother happy.
"Will leave you guys to bond." Michael says, he is a the sweetest compared to the talkative Nana. Michael is Zubby's first son.
"WeMichael Godson, if you want me to slap the craziness out of you, you will dare walk out of that door!" Bonge half shouts.
"Yeye the Queen has spokenoo." Nana laughs making everyone to laugh even more. Her accent is kind of weird but I enjoy listening to her talk. Spending time with people close to my heart really made my day. We talked some more sharing emotional and happy moments. For some strange reason Zubby's children were too comfortable around my mother. They ended up sharing their darkest secrets with her. Bongekile later prepared for her trip to Cape Town. She told herself it's about time to put herself first, atleast she's certain that her son will be well taken care of. She trusts my wife with everything in her.
"I have everything I need. I can't believe Nana damaged all of my old clothes and bought me a new wardrobe. I swear this child is a true definition of a devil." She smiles and turn to look at my beautiful wife. "Makoti don't forget you have a husband, nawe Phaka don't forget you have a wife. Stand by each other through thick and thin. Do not allow the devil to ruin what you have. Most people are not happy with your union. Put God first in everything you do, and pray. Prayer is the most important thing don't forget that. Same applies to you Bakhukumile," referring to Nana. "Try to talk less when you're in-laws are around my girl and respect your husband as always. Wena Michael I want to attend your wedding. Find a woman and settle down or I will find one for you. Take care of each other please and don't disappoint me I've been disappointed alot." That was the saddest emotional goodbye. I've never been separated from my mother this will be the first time. I don't know how my life will be without her being around. I'm happy that she didn't brake down after the divorce. I hope she will be happy and I'm praying to see her soon.__________
Zubby helped her carry the bags to the car and they drove to the airport. The flight wasn't that bad as she thought, she's just afraid of heights and that's her weakest link.
When they arrived in Cape Town she though she will be sleeping in a hotel until she finds a flat to rent. But seeing this huge beautiful gigantic house infront of her made her speechless.
"Wow what a beautiful house. Who lives here?" She asks as she kept admiring the house. This house is beyond beautiful.
"Wait till you see the inside." Zubby tells her. He takes her hand and they went inside of the house. The place was totally out of this world. Who ever lives here must be filthy rich. This person is living life, a life of a president.
"Wow one day I'll definatly own a house like this." She says admiring it.
Zubby glares at her, if only she knew that the house actually belongs to her. But he wouldn't like to ruin the moment. He just loves it when he sees that priceless smile on her face.
"It's actually mines," he lies. I just want someone to look after it while I'm away cause I'm hardly in Cape Town." He lies again.
"I wouldn't say no to my dream house never, just can't wait to cook in that kitchen. The interior design is crazy, ow my word that kitchen island." She squeals in excitement like a two year old
Bonge decides to take a tour in the house, every room has it's own insuit but the master bedroom takes the cup. She never imagined herslef living her a house like this. She feels like a new person everything about her has changed just over night. The clothing and weaves makes her look younger.
"I love the patio but I'm sorry to say this. The master bedroom is mine uzozibona ukuthi uzolalaphi wena. Did you see that room? It suits me." She beams in excitement clapping her hands like a little kid.
"Your wish is my command your highness." He bows his head. "But," he say softly making himself comfortable on the master bed.
"I heard that." They laughed making fun of each other. Bongekile has never been this free spirited around Simon. Having this moment with Zubby is really confusing her alot.Later they unpacked their clothes and rested a bit since they were tired. That evening Bongekile made an appetizing dinner that left Zubby impressed. How can Simon be this stupid letting this kind of goddess slip right through his fingers, he will regret it later. Tomorrow he will be he will be showing her around Cape Town before preparing her for work. He wants to make sure she doesn't think of her ex husband one bit. Now that Nana played her part by bring bongekile close to him. He will definitely accomplish his mission.
NGCOBO HOUSEHOLD
The wife and kids arrived at home. Sphe and Muzi seemed to be more excited than their father. When Bongekile left she made sure that she took everything that belonged to her not living any traces of her behind.
Zimkitha made herself comfortable in the master bedroom. Now that Simon got rid of the first wife she will do the rest.
"Sthandwa sami finally you are right where you belong." Simon says holding her waist.
"Finally you got rid of that chacol. Why did you settle for less vele, vele. I've been a very good wife to you but not even once you noticed me." Zamkithi complains.
"I believe it was witch craft. I cannot believe I fell for someone like her. She doesn't fall under my category one bit. But what matters the most is you being right in your husband's arms." Simon pulls her towards him giving her a soft perk on her cheeks. Zamkithi is the complete opposite of Bongekile. Zamkithi is a yellow who has a slim body with no breasts. Simon was more ecsatic having his wife and kids around. They kept making fun of Bongekile, even the boys were laughing till they dropped except for one person. He may not know Phaka and his mum personally but they are also human beings. His not going to be comfortable in this house, you cannot build happiness on another woman's tears. As 15 as he is his mind works like a matured person. He waited for everyone to go to sleep. He snooped around the house and didn't find anything. He eventually got tired and went out for fresh air, and he thought about his current family. They may seem happy now all this will vanish within a blink of an eye.
He started picking up stones and throwing them on the ground until he picked up a piece of paper. He looked at it and found a house address on it.
"I honestly don't like my family, well not that I don't like them. I hate what they are doing. I've only seen him on photo's and I must say we look alike. He seems to be a nice person unlike my other brother's. His just a bit darker than us. Maybe this person will help me find him. I hope this address will be useful somehow. I will take it upon me to have a relationship with my brother. I have a feeling that this address will lead me to him. Look at me talking to myself, let me go sleep before I go crazy." He shakes his head and walks back to the house.
"Where have you been?" Gcina got startled by a voice only to find Muzi by the kitchen counter drinking water.
"Fresh air." Gcina answers and walks straight to the new bedroom he was given. He sighs looking at Phaka's picture, he stole this picture in his father's car years back and kept it to himself. Gcina has met all his brother's bit was never allowed to meet uMphakamseni.
