MPHAKAMSENI THE ARRANGED MAN
#27

NGCOBO HOUSEHOLD

"Tell me Zamkithi what the hell are you doing here? Wasn't it enough that you kilked my father with your bitching ways? Wasn't enough that you brought different men in my father's house in his presence huh? Yin usufuna amafa sfebe ndini!" Muzi takes everyone but surprise.
"Muzikayise! Watch your mouth before I chop it into pieces," Bongekile repremends him with a serious tone.
Muzi takes a deep breath trying to calm himself down. He looked at Zamkithi with somuch hatred and range in his eye's and went back to the house.
"Woman we just buried our father and you are here barking like a dog. Have you got no shame." This is the woman that gave birth to him but Lungelo has had enough!
"Wena I'm still your mother, don't talk to me like that. Anyways I'm here to mourn my husband. What is she doing here." She says pointing at Bongekile with her head.
"She will always be my daughter in-law and still a wife to my late son and the ancestors approve. Question is what are you doing here?" Baba asks calmly.
"It's my house too," she cluck her tounge and wheeled her suitcases to the house and went to the master bedroom". Who ever is using my master bedroom can they please move their rags."
Ntombi and her daughter stood up shamefully to go pack their daughter's belongings.
"Kodwa mah nawe you told us not to buy a house with my husband. Look now what's happening. Why do you guy's fight over other people's inheritance. Look where you're greediness lead us to." Anita says in a soft soft voice.
They finished packing with heavy hearts, they took their belongings to the living room looking all lost.
"Now all of you I want you out by tomorrow morning. The madam of this house is back." Zamkithi marched to her bedroom leaving them in disbelief and shocked.
"Let her enjoy my son will deal with her." Baba says looking down.
"Baba I should take my leave, it's getting late." Bongekile looks at her wrist watch and indeed it was getting late. She hates driving at night.
"Travel safe ndodakazi. You will always be my daughter." She bid goodbyes to the rest of the family and left.

BONGEKILE

After leaving at the Ngcobo's I drove straight home. I just want to bath and sleep. The cleansing went well and I also had to partake to avoid isinyama.
When I arrive at home I find Zubby watching rugby and the house smells so refreshing and clean.
"Queen you back," his face lights up kissing her cheeks. "How was the funeral?"
"It went well, the boys truely impreesed me. They managed everything without anyone's help, everything was going smooth until Zamkithi showed up and caused havoc." She sighs sitting relaxing her feet.
"I don't wanna know the drama that went down. But what's more important is that everything went well and my wife came back in one piece." He sits next to her sneaking his hands underneath her skirt.
She blushed squeezing her thighs together. "Ay suka where's Nomkhosi?" She scans the living room area.
"In her room, she's a very shy girl. I noticed that she's not comfortable around me, so I went to see Micheal the whole day. I just got back." He honestly says.
"Let me go see her before I go freshen up." She stands up heading to Khosi's bedroom, without minding she opened the door without knocking. That made Nomkhosi scream in fear thinking maybe it's Zubby, seeing her this frightened made Bonge's heart ache in pain. She scanned her naked body and her eye's drooped when she saw her torn underwear.
"Hy babe it's me nothing to be afraid of," she her calmed down abit. "Can we talk if you don't mind." She noded and quickly grabbed her dress to wear it. "How are you?" She asks as she sat on top of the bed.
"Good," she answered shyly playing with her fingers as she sat slowly next to her.
"Did you finish your matric?"
"Yes," Khosi's heart pounded answering and she was still looking down"
Bonge sighed feeling a bit guilty of the question she just asked. Perhaps that came out in a wrong way. "I don't mean to offend you. But how? How did you overcome yourself by having a certificate?"
"With a help of a friend." She has a very soft voice.
"Hmmm a good friend you have.  Tell me more about this friend of your's. She sounds interesting." And indeed she wants to hear more.
Khosi beamed with excitement and shyd away bitting her nails. The live she has for her friend can't be compared to anything. "Her name is Angela and she's my neighbour. She's actually more of an older sister that I never had. When ever I visit her home they will treat me like one of their own. When ever she visits she will bring something new for me. She bought me clothes and cometics. If she's not around and happens that I run out of pads I normally use newspapers," the last statement came out in a low voice, this is the first time sharing her hardship life. The only person who knows about her life is Angela.
"A true friend you have. Tell me more about your family." Hoping that she didn't press the wrong buttons.
Khosi sighed closing her eye's preventing tears from falling down her checks, this topic has always been sensitive for her. "Well there's nothing to share or say about my family. My childhood was an adulthood. I experienced somuch pain under my mother's watch from the age of six." She kept quite taking a deep breath. "Everything changed when mama brought Malume Sipho into our lives. The love she had for me turned into hate. I tried so many times to tell her that Sipho and his son's touch me inappropriately in my private part areas." She laughed through her tears. "Mind you I was only six and I knew nothing about sex and I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was called a lier, she said I seduced them cause I wanted it. I was labelled a prostitute. Ever since then I decided to keep the pain inside of me and bury it. Ever since then I became a snack to them, I became their breakfast, lunch and supper. Being an albino is a curse. I hate myself!"
"No, no, no you are not a curse and never was. Your mother failed to nature a beautiful gift infront of her. You're unique and that means you're special. She faild to care for the most expensive gift and someone else will take care of that gift."
She burst into tears painfully, "I don't wanna go back there. Please don't send me back. I've never slept so peacefully without someone pulling my leg and forcing themselves in me. For the first time in my life I slept in peace without horror and fear." Her voice brakes in a painful way.
"And no one will ever touch you again. Think of something positive, dream big. What did you want to study after matriculating?"
"Psychology. I want to help broken women like me."
"And you're prayers have been answered. Next year you will be going back to school to pursue your dreams. But first I want you to heal and be happy. Block all the negative energy and you shall concur the world. Do not fear us we are now your newly found family." Bongekile assures her.
Khosi was a crying mess. She longed wish to study but her mother told her that she's just a waste of energy. If she goes to school she promises herself that she will work hard and make it in life without her mother.
"Thank you somuch ma," she knelt down hugging her feet.
"Ay, ay stand up before I slap you. Tomorow morning before I leave I want us to go shopping. It's very therapic and I know you would love it. I want you to have a new life with new people." She says already standing up. "I'm tired I need a long night. Ulale kahle." She walked out.
Bonge left her room with a broken heart. The girl has had a terrible life and a traumatic childhood. I hope now she feels better because she cried all the pain out.
I took a long relaxing bath not forgetting to add bath salts to relax my muscles. After bathing I went straight to bed and I was dead tired.
"I'll give you a foot massage." Dearest husband offers.
"I need it after that therapic session I had." She narrates the story to him. "So tomorrow I'm taking her for shopping just to keep her mind busy."
"Why not take all the girls out. I can book you guys a spa treat. Bakhulumile will be very happy." Zubby suggests.
"Weeeee Jesus you want me to go with that daughter of mine." Bongekile says dramatically causing Zubby to laugh.
"There you said it, she's your daughter after all." They laughed and slept peacefully cuddling.
