MPHAKAMSENI THE ARRANGED MAN
#17

NGCOBO HOUSEHOLD

Zamkithi was up and down the house banging all doors making too much noise.
"What's wrong, I thought you would be happy since my kids are gone. What's all with this running and causing havoc so early in the morning.
"Don't tell me about those idiots. Where is Gcina? All of his clothes are gone. Did they take him?"
"You only noticing now. What kind of a mother you are anyway?. I'm sure he was tired of all your ranting and grunting. You know my wife was a very humble soul." Simon tells Zamkith
"So ngihlanganaphi mina, she's gone to be a humble soul else where, not here in my house!"
"Sometimes I don't understand your intentions, why did you marry me if you're going to treat me like this?" " Simon sounding defeated, this is not the life he imagined. Where is the sweet Zamkithi he knows?
"Hau why are you sad. Was this not the same way you use to treat your wife and son? why are you complaining. Don't bore me with your shit, I want my son before I chop your head off and feed you to the dogs useless man. How can a married man chase away his family he had for years just for a side chick. My kuku must be really good then. I want my son before the end of tomorrow." Zamkithi roars making Simon cringe. She clicks her tounge and left him standing their like a statue. What has he gotten himself into. He sat down as he was feeling defeated. This is how he used to treat his wife and son, guess the tables have turned around and his about to get burnt in the cross fire!

MPHAKAMSENI

I spent the night at the hospital, I just wanted to be sure if she is fine. Imagine sleeping on this small hospital bed, I'm tall and fit she's too tiny. I literally took all of it. I'm just happy that my woman is fine and she was discharged this morning. I will have to make sure that she doesn't strain herslef, no more working for her cause work can be too much stress sometimes. I'll have to hire a house help, an elderly person for that matter. I don't want any troubles my life is way too peaceful.
"I will be working from home this week, I just want to make sure that you are okay. Later I will be out, I'm having a meeting with the minister, atleast Nana will be here too look after you. Let me know if you need anything.
"It's oky babe, I'll just sleep I'm just tired. Love you.
I watched my wife as she went upstairs slowly admiring her behind. Now I have a boner, I love this woman like a mad person. I haven't shared these news with anyone, let me call my mother, I hope the network is good since she's in Dubai. My mother is rolling places I tell you later I'll have to contact my wife's father. He has been persistent lately and I don't know how to tell my wife.
"I've been trying to get hold of you network inenyongo." My mother has always been my strength of happiness.
"I'm in Dubai sdididi remember, I'm going places, you should take your wife." She says, the line is braking up and I just pray she hears what I'm about to share with her.
"I will but once everything is settled maybe after after a year."
"Aibo why? Don't be stingy wena please. Make your wife happy, did you see how miserable I was with your father? Don't make that same mistake with your wife!"
"My father is Zubby. Anyway I wanted to inform you guys that you are going to be grandparents again since Nana is also preggies." If only she could see me right now.
"WHAT! Tell me you joking!"
"I'm serious as a heart attack. Those are not the only news I want to share. We found out that we are having 6 Ngcobo's." Damn my sperm is special. My mother screamed in excitement and ended up crying. Women!
"Remember at your wedding day what I said to Zelo. I said her womb shall be blessed and she shall bare you fruitful kids. There's only one thing that Simona did in your life, he chose the right woman for you and I'm thankful for that. Ngiphathele kahle yena love her and only her."
"And I intend to love her till my last breath. This woman is my all. Without her than….I don't know." I honestly say. Having this woman in my life is a blessing, I will forever worship the ground she walks on.

AT THE OIL AND GAS STATION

Muzi and Sphe were outside the gate early in the morning to drop of their CV's. The last time they saw this place it was not this exquisite. Alot has changed in a short period of time.
"Sure case the owner is a millionaire, look at this place ndoda." She complements and I totally agree with him. This place is out of this world.
"I'm even afraid to set my foot inside. Everything I see here just screams money. Some people are rich."
They made their way in to the reception area and dropped their applications.
"You will be contacted within 2/3 days to be scheduled for an interview." The receptionist informs them.
"Thank you nkosazana, we will be kindly waiting for that call." He winked at her making her blush.
They walked out thinking of the new life they are about to start without their father.
