#19
AT THE HOSPITAL
Everyone was left Simon was now left alone feeling lonely and empty. The woman who always stood by him is not here beside him. He has heard that Zamkithi has moved out of the house and will be serving him with the divorce paper's in two weeks time. He just wondering where is Bongekile and Mphakamseni. Tomorrow he is being discharged due to high bills that they cannot maintain. His not someone who usually prays but today he will speak to his Almighty.
"Dear God I bring myself forward. The life changes I made in the past which cannot be undone I regret with everything in me. The heart's I've broke, I've hurt them beyond recognition. I'm seeking for forgiveness, I got to accept of what it is and let go of what was and have faith in what will be. I believe that someday I will walk. In life I've got to realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet. Some are there to test you, some will use you, some will teach you and some will bring out the best in you. Now I believe and I declare that my life will never be the same again. Open my eye's and show me the light in Jesus name Amen." Now that he has spoken his peace to the Lord he feels much more lighter.
MPHAKAMSENI
I'm sitting here quietly looking at the newspapers article and listening to Gcina. As much as I hate him I feel bad for him. Yes, this man did me bad but he will forever be my father dispute everything. First he looses his business, but I saved it cause I'm the one who bought it, I couldn't miss the opportunity and now that his crippled and being sent home cause he cannot pay the hospital bills hurts. I believe he has given up in life wherever he is. My mum is back from Dubai and they spending their weekend in my house, even Nana and Michael popped up by.
"Hade ntwana I feel for you. So what are you going to do cause I can see that this thing is eating you?" And indeed it was.
Sighs and shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know man, I seriously don't know. Part of me wants to help and part of me wants to see him suffer." Am I a bad person?.
"You may hate him all you want son but what you must know is that you must kill people with your kindness. Ungabuyiseli okubi ngokubi "Nigerian accent". Pay for his hospital bills, find him a good doctor to do an operation that is required and find him a physiotherapist. Let him pick up his life back. Zubby says tapping on my shoulder. Now this is deep.
"But pops I don't want them to see me as yet. Do I really have to go to the hospital?" I ask.
"Sdididi fonela esibhedlela and be anonymous." It's weird listening to Zubby speaking my language.
"Oohh ay stick to englishoo." Even Nana agrees with my thoughts.
"I hope you don't mind my queen." Zubby's turns to look at Bongekile who looks unbothered about the whole situation.
"Not at all, I trust you with my children I know you will never mislead them." My mother answers.
"I wouldn't ask for a better family." And it's an honest truth. Ever since I met them my life has been peaceful.
"Ungasitetemeli please." Gcina teases Phaka.
Phaka took out his phone and contacted the hospital and remained anonymous. For now he doesn't want anyone to find out that he was behind the payment. It better if he remains anonymous for the better.
AT THE HOSPITAL
"Looks like it's your lucky day Mr Ngcobo. I just got a report that someone made a full payment for your surgery and physiotherapist." The doctor tells Simon.
