                                Mad Dream

"Austin? As in Austin Rivers from the Los Angeles Clippers right?"

He nodded.

"I thought I recognized you." I exclaimed as I handed him his juice.

"So I take it you're a Clippers fan." Austin said as he took a sip of his juice.

I wasn't really a fan of basketball period until I started dating my ex. She was the one who truly got me to appreciate sports.

"I've grown to like basketball period but I honestly don't watch it enough to be a fan of one specific team." I explained.

There was that stare again. Staring right into my eyes. It was almost like he couldn't help himself.

After what seemed like a very long and awkward silence, he finally spoke.

"Well okay. It was a pleasure talking to you. You have a good evening and thanks for the juice Destiny."

How did he know my name?

My face must have shown confusion because he answered the question I was asking in my head.

"You have a name tag with your name on it."

We both chuckled.

"Okay well bye. If Amy has anymore emergencies, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again."

I nodded in agreement.

"Sure thing. Bye."

"Have a good evening as well!" he shouted as he walked out the door.

It was finally closing time and luckily we always die down prior to so there wasn't much we had to do afterwards. Everything was in order and all things were prepared for the next day's shift.

It feel like hours driving home even though I live thirty minutes away. I live in a relatively small apartment at the City View. It's right beside the Contreras High School Field.

The first thing I did when I got home was hop in the shower. Shortly thereafter I checked all of my social media accounts watched a little bit of Law & Order: SVU and fell asleep.

It wasn't long before I heard some obnoxious banging on my door. I looked at my phone to see that it was only 11:30 PM, but still, Who in the hell would be knocking on my door this time of night, unless it's an emergency. I hoped that no one in my family was hurt or anything. I got to the door, looked through my peephole and to my surprise, it was Austin. Yes! Austin Rivers. He must've followed me home. The staring was a bit much but following me home crosses the line. I was going to give him a piece of my mind right before I called the cops!

"What the hell are you doing here!? I screamed as I opened the door.

How did you even know where I live? Did you follow me? Are you stalking me?

I went on and on yelling at him and all he was doing was staring at my eyes again. I kept fussing him out before he completely caught me off guard and kissed me. I was super shocked. I just meet this guy literally no longer than five hours ago, then he shows up on my doorstep and without saying one word, he kisses me! I was so frustrated! Apart of my frustration was because of the fact that I like women but I really enjoyed his lips against mine. I was speechless and didn't say a word until I heard another obnoxious knock on the door. This knock actually woke me up.

"It was a dream?" I said to myself.

I quickly jumped out the bed and opened the door before I even looked through the peephole.

It was my ex...Julia.

"Hey babe! Miss me? she said as she invited herself into my home.

I closed the door and said to myself, "Damn! It WAS a dream."
