Chapter 17

                            Mad Scheming

Today is the day I go to dinner with Jayce. After my damn near panic attack yesterday, Austin help me calm down and it's actually his idea that we both go on the date together so that he can politely tell Jayce to FUCK OFF!

Jayce has already tried to call me. I rejected his call but I did respond to his text about where I live. Austin's plan is not only for both of us to go to dinner with Jayce but it's also supposed to be a surprise.

Jayce: I need to know your address so I can pick you up for our date tonight.

Me: You know what? How about I just meet you there.

Jayce: Okay just as long as you don't stand me up lol [heart eyes emoji]!

Me: I won't [rolling eyes emoji]

My day went by pretty quick. I stopped by the bakery to pick up some bread for the house and then I headed home.

Once I was inside, I went into the bedroom and saw Austin laid out on the bed, playing video games.

I walked in and sat down. He paused the game and then we kissed.

"How was your day?" he asked, as he started playing the game again.

I slightly rolled my eyes thinking about the date tonight.

"The day isn't over yet." I replied.

"You're stressing over tonight? Don't even worry about it babe. I'll be there right with you and I'll let this Jayce dude know what's up!"

I started to get worried that Austin might get violent. "You're not going to hurt him are you?!

Austin looked at me and hesitated. He definitely thought about it.

"No. Of course not. I'm simply going to let him know that you're my girl and that he needs to stop trying to pursue you."

"For real?" I asked still worried.

He paused the game again and came close to me. "Babe I promise."  he said as he stared into my eyes. Once he did that I believed him.

We started kissing and Austin starting to get from under the covers. At first, I thought he wanted to have sex. We definitely had time but instead he stood right in front of the TV and started playing the game again. I couldn't help but laugh. I threw a pillow at him and we started to have a little pillow fight. We continued to fight until we both got tired and we both fell asleep...with pillows in our hands.

I woke up at about 6:45. My- I mean OUR date was in less than two hours. Austin was snoring really loud (like he always does).

"Austin get up we have to start getting ready for this date." He immediately got up and we both got in the shower together to cut back on time.

"You can't wear that." Austin said. I had jeans and a blue long sleeve shirt on.

"What's wrong with this?" I asked in confusion.

"You have to look extremely sexy so that it'll hurt more once he gets rejected." 

Austin smiled with that devilish look on his face again, making me laugh.

I put something more formal on and then we left.

"So what's the plan?" I asked.

"The plan is you go in there. Sit. Order your food immediately and after a couple of minutes, I'll come in there, all smiles and we can both see the look on his face." he said looking at me, while he was driving.

Austin really is an evil genius type person but that's another reason why I love him.

We get to the restaurant and Jayce was already there and had already gotten a table.

He hugs me (and he still doesn't smell as good as Austin) then we both take our seat. I ordered my food immediately like Austin said, then after a couple of minutes Austin came in.

"Hey! Jayce, is it? Austin said as he shuck Jayce's hand. I put my head down and smiled a little.

Austin to the rescue, once again. My hero.

At this point Jayce was looking confused as Austin sat down next to me.

"Uh- so you two know each other? Jayce asked.

"Know each other, Jayce this is my girlfriend." Austin said with this big smile.

Jayce's smile slowly turned into a straight face.

"Are you serious?" Jayce asked.

That's when Austin reach over and kissed me. He was showing off now. It was so passionate. I almost felt bad for Jayce but maybe now he gets the message.

"Well Jayce. It's been fun meeting you and thanks for inviting Dez and I on this date. Catch you later homie."

Austin and I then walked out of the restaurant with his arm around my neck and without us looking back.

I was so relieved. I never have to deal with Jayce again. He knows I have a boyfriend now so we are FINISHED.

JAYCE'S P.O.V.

Austin and Destiny walked out of the restaurant before our drinks even came. I took my phone out and made a phone call.

"Hello? Yeah. I was able to get a date with her but she brought Austin...I don't know, she must've told him. Don't worry I still have a some tricks up my sleeve but it's going to cost you more if you want me to seduce her and break her and Austin up...."

***I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was so busy the past couple of days. I also read stories up here so I'm trying to get caught up.***
