"Where are you going and why are you in such a rush?" Julia asked me.

It's funny how she thinks she controls me or I owe her any explanations.

"Not that it's any of your business, but I'm going out with one of my coworkers and her friend."

Julia's eyes got wide. "This coworker of yours...is she hot?"

I rolled my eyes super hard because I wanted her to know how annoyed I was. "Julia, she's straight, she has a son. Even if she were gay, she's off limits to you. Why are you even here?!

Julia got up from the edge of my bed and started to wrap her arms around my waist. I immediately pushed her off.

"Look! I'm trying to be nice to you but you obviously STILL take my kindness for weakness!"

Julia tried to put her hands on me again and I immediately dodged her.

"Don't you want me here babe?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Hell no! I don't want you here!" I yelled angrily.

"That's it. I tried to do the right thing the other day. I let you come here because you were drunk but you are no longer welcome in my home so leave!

Julia's smile quickly faded away and she got her jacket and prepared to leave.

"I know you still want me Dezi." she exclaimed.

At this point I was so fed up with her but I didn't want to blow up and mess up my mood before the game so I just hit her with some old-fashioned sarcasm.

"You know what Julia? You're right! I do want you...I want you to leave and don't bother coming back! Drunk or sober."

That last comment really ticked her off and I could tell but I didn't really care anymore. I opened the door and escorted her out.

FINALLY! She was gone. Now I can finish getting ready with no distractions.

The plan was to meet Amy and her friend at the Staples Center. I really didn't have to rush because the Staples Center is literally eight minutes from my house. It's a longer drive getting to work everyday but anybody who is familiar with or lives in LA knows about the traffic here!

Today was my day off so that time off really helped me to decide what I should wear. It's been a while since I've been out with friends just having a good time. I've never been to an NBA basketball game before so it was hard deciding what to wear. I didn't want to dress too formal but I also didn't want to look like a bum.

I finally decided that I was going to wear this mini white button up blouse, some black skin tight jeans, this red scarf that I bought at Forever 21 with a Vintage Army Coat. I also decided to wear my black uggs neumels as well. To accesorize, I wore these big gold hoop earrings and some Native American chains I got when I visited Arizona a couple years back. I was set and ready to go. The only thing left for me to do was my hair. My hair is pitch black and extremely thick. most of the time I wear my hear in twists only because it's easier to manage but I decided to go against the grain and wear my curly fro.

I arrived at the game and Amy and her friend were already there.

"Dezi this is my friend Whitney." Amy said while introducing me.

"And Whitney this is my coworker and friend Destiny but everyone calls her Dezi."

"Nice to meet you Whitney" I said while shaking her hand.

"It's nice meeting you too" she replied.

Once we were finished introducing ourselves, we made our way to our seats.

The game was actually interesting. I'll admit that it was crazy seeing all these famous athletes. Of course I saw Austin. He was on the bench for the first quarter but he did come in the game during the second quarter. I even found myself cheering whenever he scored. Amy took this as an opportunity to mock me.

"Mmm hmmm! I thought Austin Rivers wasn't a big deal..." she said.

I still chose to pretend I wasn't interested in him.

"He's not. I'm cheering for the whole team."

Amy and Whitney just laughed because, like I said, I am the worst liar!

The whole time they were cheering for number thirty-two.

Blake Griffin.

"Blake is so damn fine!" Whitney yelled.

Whitney yelled it so loud that he looked back at us as he was running down the court. He gave us this smirk and Amy and Whitney started blushing from embarrassment.

"Wow" I said while laughing.

"You sure did get his attention Whitney."

I understand what they mean though. Blake was so gorgeous.

I was looking around until my eyes got stuck on another gorgeous man. This man was staring right into my eyes and he had the most beautiful smile. I knew that I would see him but I had no idea that he would see me.

A million thoughts started rushing to my head again. I hate this man! He literally drives me insane...but I love it!

This man does something to me and I can't figure it out.

The buzzer went off and everybody in the Staples Center started yelling and screaming like crazy!

The Clippers won, of course.

I looked around and found the beautiful man staring at me again.

Yeah he won too. Austin Rivers won the game...and my heart.
