We arrived at the blue point as Steven swerved his car into the spot, bringing up a load of dust.

"Watch where you're driving idiot!" We heard a voice shout as we got out.

We all turned and saw Chris, Geordie, Teddy and Vern standing there brushing the dust off them.

"Hey it's-" Vern started, raising his hand to point at me but was stopped by Teddy grabbing his mouth shut.

"It's a girl you'll never have the pleasure of knowing. Now move along. You're not worthy of the ground we walk on brat." Steven spat back at them, walking in front of me and Donna.

I turned to Donna before we looked at the boys. Our hands quickly began making gestures towards Steven, mouthing its him to them.

I saw Chris nod and step forward.

"We'll go, don't worry. Just wanna make sure I know what you look exactly like."

Steven scoffed and stepped forward, Geordie put his hand on Chris's arm and tried pulling him back.

"Oh yeah?" Steven started. "And why's that? Jealous of my looks versus yours?" He said with a laugh.

"No." Chris said calmly. "Just want to make sure I can fully describe the before and after to my brother."

Steven laughed again. " and who's your brother? Gonna save your little arse?"

"I'm sure you'll meet him soon. I have every faith he'll be out and about before you can say busted."

Steven shook his head. "You kids smoking something strange here? What the fuck are you on about? Who's your brother?"

Chris shook his head. "You'll see."

Steven acted fake scared. "Ooo I'm so scared, brothers gonna get me. Oh please, you don't know what I'm capable of." He said, beginning to step forward towards Chris.

Donna quickly jumped in and grabbed Steven's arm, pulling him back.

"Just leave them Stevie. They don't know anything, let's just get in and eat."

Steven hesitated but nodded and allowed Donna to pull him inside. I quickly nodded at the boys.

"Donna gave me some advice to make it better but I'm gonna twist it for you."

Chris nodded.

"Do it for Eyeball."

Chris paused as Geordie, Teddy and Vern all stepped forward, standing next to Chris.

"Do it for Ace." Geordie said firmly.

I smiled weakly at him and nodded as I quickly followed Donna and Steven into the diner. They'd sat down and I quickly joined them, sitting next to Donna who was opposite Steven.

"What took you so long?" Steven questioned.

I shrugged slightly.

"I was just telling them to watch the car. You know what guys can be like down these parts."

Steven nodded and scoffed.

"Don't I just. Take it you don't see that twat anymore?"

My body clenched as I felt Donna's hand grip mine under the table.

I quickly looked at her before back at Steven.

"No I don't see Ace anymore." I said through gritted teeth.

Steven laughed slightly. "You know he's being done for David's murder?"

I shook my head quickly.
