My father opened his arms as I stepped closer and although my body hesitated, my heart took over and forced my body to throw itself into the safety of a fathers arms. I wrapped my arms around his waist as he wrapped one arm around me. I felt him turn his body outward as he offered out his other arm.

I turned my head slightly and saw he was offering it out to my mother. I watched her stand there hesitantly. I took a deep breath and moved one arm from my fathers waist out to her.

"Please mummy.." I felt the words slip out as I watched tears form in her eyes as she leapt forward and her arms enveloped me and my father.

The three of us stood there gripping each other tight as I tilted my head up to both of them.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, loud enough for them both to hear.

"No Rochelle. We're sorry." My father mumbled as he planted a kiss on my head.

I gripped them both tight as I felt tears fall down my face. All too soon my mother began to pull away along with my father as she brushed herself down and wiped her eyes and went back to the being the high class View lady she was.

"Now. Can I at least know your new full name?" She asked.

I smiled slightly as I turned and saw Ace watching us from a distance. I reached my hand out to him as I turned to my parents.

"I'm Rochelle Merrill." I said as I felt Ace's hand slip in mine. I gently tugged him to my side.

"And this is my husband John Merrill." I couldn't stop the smile on my face as I looked up at him with nothing but love in my eyes.

"Fresh start?" My father asked as he looked Ace up and down, offering out his hand.

Ace smiled and nodded slightly before reaching out and shaking my fathers hand. I laced my arm around Ace's waist as he looked his arm around me and held me close to him.

"Well then I expect you'll be over tomorrow to collect your belongings." My father said as he released Ace's hand and held his arm for my mother to link hers in.

I nodded slightly and a small smile appeared on his face. He nodded in return.

"Well then, we'll see you tomorrow for brunch." And with that he gave me a gentle kiss on the cheek, shook Ace's hand again and turned away, leading my mother and our fellow View people away in the cars.

I sighed as I watched them all drive off. Ace's arm still wrapped around my waist holding me close. I placed a hand on his chest and leant my head on his shoulder. The others joined our side as we watched everyone drive away.

"Well I never thought I'd see the day."

We all turned to face Eyeball.

"The day Ace fucking Merrill lands a couple of high class View lot as in-laws."

Everyone burst out laughing as Ace leant over me to shove him slightly. Eyeball laughed but chucked him a set of keys.

"Cars outside Irbys."

Ace nodded and before I could ask what was going on he looped one of my arms around his neck and bent down slightly before scooping me up, one arm under my knees, the other under my back. I laughed as I wrapped my other arm around his neck and he laughed before starting to carry me off. We ignored all the rude shouts from the cobras, Donna and Charles. We were somewhat thankful for the younger lot telling them to stop hurting their ears with such filth they weren't old enough to understand.

I laughed as Ace carried me along the street. It was clearly well known knowledge that Ace Merrill was getting married as we heard a few congratulations along the way and were surprisingly met with smiles. He set me down as we reached Eyeball's car, opening the passenger door for me. I kissed his cheek before climbing in and letting him shut it before he went around and got in the other side. Starting up the car he smirked at me, placing a hand on my leg.

"Ready for the night of your life Mrs Merrill?"

I laughed and nodded.

"Completely and helplessly ready Mr Merrill."

He laughed and gripped my leg slightly before he put the car in gear and head off in the direction of his house. Well our house.

3rd person POV

Glass fragments flew everywhere as the bottle was chucked against a wall in the alley.

"Dude we gotta let it go." A voice spoke quietly.

"Yeah you saw what happened back there." Another voice.

A growl was heard before another voice.

"She doesn't belong with him."

"But she-" The first voice started to speak again but was silenced by another bottle being smashed against the wall.

"I don't give a flying fuck about what she did! Except the fact she did it wrong!" The voice shouted with anger and hatred.

"But it's impossible to get him. He's all protected by the other cobras and now her family!" The second voice spoke, trying to talk some reason.

"Well then it's obvious what we do." The third voice sounded sinister.

"If I cant have her by getting rid of him then I just do the next best option."

Silence.

"What's that?" The first spoke quietly.

"Simple. If I can't have her. No-one can. Not even some lowlife King of the cobras."
