Robert was drawing closer and closer to his breaking point with each passing day. Since Simon had cast him away, Robert had no one to keep him grounded; no one to stop him from making impulsive decisions- no one to make him feel normal. He had forgotten what it was like to simply wake up and be happy; every morning was a chore.

Robert spent every night awake; delirious from lack of sleep and heavy drug abuse. He had taken it to the extreme now; there wasn’t a day where Robert didn’t have something in his system. Whether that be cocaine, alcohol, weed, acid or something else; Robert had to take it to function. To feel numb.

They had finished the album now- and it had been released. Robert wasn;t there for the official release; he was too buddy snorting cocaine in his bedroom.

Robert wasn’t there for the after party, he was too busy fucking some bird for a quick chemical solution.

Robertt was never around anymore; he had made himself scarce around his family, around his friends, around everyone really. The only time Robert would show up is when Chris called the robot's father and told him he needed robert. Even then Robert wasn’t very useful. Robert was like a vegetable.

However the time had come; it was time to go on the promotion tour for pornography. Robert wasn’t sure how he was going to make it through this tour without dying. He didn’t know how he was going to face the rest of his band members. He was practically a stranger now…

When the morning came for them to depart; robert was the first one to show oddly enough. He was too busy obsessing over how he was supposed to act around his estranged friends. He ended up not sleeping that night; in hopes of just sleeping through the entire drive to the first venue. Robert had all his clothes packed, he had already sent his instruments to the roadies and packed all of his… necessary items.

Robert had even phoned Mary, to tell her that he was leaving to go on tour with the cure. It was a tense call; both of them didn’t really know what to say to each other. Robert had been so distant since everything started happening; it was almost a relief to Mary that Robert had called.

However, Robert now sat on the tour bus alone; anxiously waiting for the other members of the cure to arrive. Robert had half the mind to just go back and hide where the bunks where so he didn't have to face them; but seeing as the sun was just now starting to peek over the trees and light up the sky; robert decided that he would rather watch the sky change color.

Robert did just that, he sat against the small couch, eyes turned upwards as he watched the sky slowly change to vibrant colors of pink, red and orange. Robert felt comforted by this; hoping that maybe he would actually make it through this tour. Robert’s hopes were soon crushed though when the door to the tour bus opened and Chris walked in with lol right on his feet.

Chris stopped, immediately noticing Robert sitting on the couch alone. “Oh. robert.” Chris said, his tone sounding off. “Surprised to see you here this early. Would have thought you would be the last to show.” Chris said with a frown appearing on his face. “Perks of never being able to sleep chris.” Robert muttered, immediately becoming defensive.

It was like a switch flipped in robert’s brain every time he was faced with his team members. Everytime they would come around, Robert would put his walls up and become bitter and defensive. Then, whenever he was alone; those walls came down and he was a depressive basket case with no way of communicating how he was really feeling.

Chris rolled his eyes, deciding that it wasn’t worth entertaining the conversation, and turned to lol. “Where is simon?” Chris asked, dismissing Robert in favor of getting the tour started. “Called him before we arrived at  a phone booth. Should be here any moment.” lol said, placing his bag of clothes on the couch adjacent to robert; letting out a tired sigh.
