"Come. You'll be safe with me and my family. There might be people looking for you." Akiko said as she invited Luca and Alberto to stay with her and her family until they were ready to return home. "Wait, wait, wait, how did you know that's what we're here for?" Alberto stood curious.
"Well, according to what happened just a few minutes ago, you weren't washed up here for nothing. Unless you wanted to pay us a visit." Akiko replied.
"Nope. Someone's looking for us." Luca added.
"That's what I thought. Follow me. But when this all blows over, you may visit us anytime you like." Akiko said. As Luca and Alberto agreed, they all started walking from the Ocean back to Akiko's apartment. "So, your name is Akiko Kido Konomashī?" Luca asked. Akiko walked backwards to face Luca and Alberto. "Yep! Your name is Luca, right? And then your name is Alberto?" She replied, pointing to the boys.
"Yep! Alberto Scorfano! Call me Alberto! Piacere di conoscerti, Akiko!" Alberto exclaimed.
"Luca Paguro. You can call me Luca!" Luca added.
"始めまして。You two can call me Akiko." Akiko replied as she faced the front again. Luca, Alberto, and Akiko walked for 30 more minutes, which was enough time to talk a bit more. "Where are we going?" Alberto asked.
"We're going to the Kotēji, where you'll be safe until you're ready to go back home." Akiko responded. Just then, they returned to Tokyo, where Akiko and her family lived in a tall apartment building. As Akiko, Luca, and Alberto walked, a fellow Japanese woman greeted Akiko. She seemed to be in her late 20s. She was a very good friend to the Konomashīs. Her name was Chiba Jo. As Chiba saw Akiko, she stopped to say hello. "こんにちは、彬子女王様!" She exclaimed in Japanese. She only spoke Japanese due to her lack of ability to understand and speak English. "ああ! こんにちは、千葉! お元気ですか?" Akiko replied. Chiba smiled. "私は大丈夫です! 今日は元気ですか?" She asked.
"ええと? 文句は言えない。" Akiko said as she smiled. She looked to Luca and Alberto. "でも、ルカとアルベルトに会ってほしいです。" She finished as she pointed to Luca, then Alberto. Chiba waved as she smiled, and started to speak again. "こんにちは、ルカ! こんにちは、アルベルト! はじめまして! 私の名前は千葉城です!" She exclaimed. Luca and Alberto just stood confused. "What did she say?" Alberto asked Akiko.
"Oh! Sorry! Chiba only understands the language we were speaking to communicate, but I'm more than happy to translate for you. I told her your names and she said that it's nice to meet you. She also said that her name is Chiba Jo." Akiko replied.
"Oh! Okay! Piacere anche a te, Chiba!" Alberto smiled.
"Mhm!" Luca agreed. Chiba stood confused. "アルベルトはあなたに会えてうれしいと言った、ルカは同意した。" Akiko translated for Chiba.
"ああ! ありがとうございました!" Chiba replied as she gave a small bow. "さて、私は今始めたほうがいいです。 私は母を助ける必要があります。" She finished.
"それはいいです! こんにちはと言ったと彼女に言ってください! 良い一日を、千葉!" Akiko replied.
"ありがとうございました! あなたも、アキコ!" Chiba exclaimed as she walked away. Luca and Alberto stood confused. "What was that?" Luca asked.
"I'll tell you when we get to Kotēji, which is not far from where we are right now." Akiko replied.
"Okay. Sounds good." Alberto said. As they walked for eight more minutes, they got to the Kotēji as Akiko knocked on the door.
