Ch. 54: Big Reunion

"Luca!" A familiar, female voice yelled.
"Alberto!" A male voice added. It was Luca's mom and dad, Daniela and Lorenzo! "Mom! Dad!" Luca exclaimed as he took Alberto by the hand and ran over to his mother and father, as boy boys hugged them. Just then, a familiar, 12 year old girl and her father approached Alberto. "Alberto!" The man laughed in a deep voice. Alberto recognized the big man. He was Alberto's adoptive father, Massimo Marcovaldo! And his daughter was Giulia, Alberto's adoptive sister! "Dad!" Alberto yelled as he jumped up and hugged Massimo.
"Alberto!" Giulia hollered.
"Giulia!" Alberto replied as Giulia hugged him tightly. Luca saw Giulia and was elated! "Giulia!" He exclaimed as Giulia hugged both of her friends. Moments later, the Italian girl released the Sea Boys from the hug and saw Akiko, Astro, and Bella. "Who are they?" Giulia asked.
"Giulia, this is Akiko, this is Bella, and this is Toby. You can call him Astro." Alberto said.
"They, along with Guido and Ciccio got us back here!" Luca added. Guido and Ciccio walked over to Giulia and stood beside her. "Hi!" Akiko said with a sincere tone.
"Grazie mille a tutti for bringing them back! I missed them both so much!" Giulia squealed. Astro, Akiko, and Bella smiled. "Well, we couldn't just let Ercole hurt them!" Bella said.
"You are gonna visit here, right?" Giulia asked.
"Of course!" Akiko exclaimed.
"You better!" Giulia replied as she pointed. Moments later, the girl walked away. Akiko laughed as the trio was then greeted by Daniela, Lorenzo, and Luca's Grandmother. "Thank you so much for bringing Luca and Alberto back!" Daniela exclaimed.
"Hopefully we'll see you in the future." Luca's Grandmother added. Bella nodded as Astro and Akiko smiled. "はい！ 確かに！" Akiko replied.
"Yes! For sure!" Bella translated. Daniela smiled warmly as she, her husband, and her mother walked away, giving them time to socialize with others. Guido scooped Akiko up into his arms as Akiko hugged him back. "I hope to see you again, Princess." Guido said. Akiko nodded as he smiled. Guido then gave Akiko a friend-kiss on the cheek. Akiko did the same to Guido in return. Guido walked away, smiling, knowing that he would see them again. Akiko then walked near Alberto. "Hey, you." She said, catching Alberto's attention. Alberto walked up to Akiko with curiosity. "You may not see it, or know it, but there are real people out there that really do love you." Akiko said. Alberto's eyes widened. Akiko smiled as she spoke again. "And that includes me." She said. With that, Alberto teared up as he threw himself into Akiko's arms. Akiko hugged the Sea Boy back. She turned to Luca moments later. "Hey, Luca?" Akiko asked. Luca walked up to Akiko. Akiko smiled. "Take care of yourself and Alberto for me, will ya?" She asked. Luca nodded as he smiled. Alberto gave his friend a side hug. Moments later, Akiko smiled as she, Bella, Astro, and Trollex walked to where the water started at the shore. "さようなら、みんな！" Akiko exclaimed.
"Ciao!" Giulia hollered back as she waved.
"Arrivederci!" Luca added. Alberto and Luca ran to the water. "Ciao, Akiko! Ti voglio bene!" Alberto yelled. "Ciao! Ciao!" He continued. Akiko and Bella started swimming and stopped to see Luca and Alberto trying to chase after them. Alberto and Luca were able to swim over to them to hug them one last time. Astro flew over the water, whooping and hollering. Akiko hugged Alberto. "Bye!" She exclaimed as she and Bella started swimming away. A few tears filled Akiko's eyes. Trollex noticed as he hugged Akiko's face. He held onto Akiko all the way back to Tokyo. Astro just flew above the water, sometimes making loop de loops in midair. Alberto and Luca stopped following the group of four when Akiko and her friends were far enough from Portorosso. Akiko looked at Luca and Alberto one last time. The young Sea Boys both smiled. Akiko smiled back as she continued swimming. As Akiko and her friends were farther away from Portorosso, Luca and Alberto jumped out of the water, making stunts in midair. Akiko and Bella smiled warmly as they swam away. Astro followed the Mermaid Girls by flight.
