With Guido and Ciccio on the team, there was a better chance of getting Luca and Alberto back to Portorosso! Bella was the first one to strike up conversation. "So, what happened with Ercolé? You know, when you were friends with him?" She asked. Guido was first to reply. "Well, we used to hang out with Ercolé, constantly doing whatever we could to make him happy, whether it was feeding him sandwiches or keeping his Vespa safe." He started.
"And we would accompany him everywhere, ready to do his bidding." Ciccio added.
"That is until he started mistreating us, and manipulating us. One time, he smacked me in the face with a sandwich because I laughed at him." Guido continued. Akiko was shocked. "He also used us to cheat and win the Portorosso Cup." Ciccio finished. Akiko frowned. "That's horrible!" She said.
"They threw him into the Fountain afterward, though, that was pretty funny." Alberto said.
"Oh, really? He deserved it." Akiko laughed. She then looked at Guido and Ciccio with serious eyes. "Nobody has the right to treat you poorly like that, especially when you do so much for the person. And then, when you do something for them, they treat you like family! That really is manipulation!" Akiko exclaimed.
"Yeah, but he never even thanked us for anything we did." Guido said. Akiko couldn't believe it! "Wow." She said, astonished.
"Yeah, I don't even know why you were friends with that jerk anyway." Alberto said. Akiko smiled. "Well, we won't treat you that way." She said as Guido smiled to her.
"Thank you." He said.
