About an hour into the expedition, Ercolé and a team of Assassins caught eye of the group, but the didn't give a straight attack. Instead, they caused an avalanche by blasting a huge rock at the top of the mountain as many of the rocks flew down, making a huge ruckus. Akiko heard it from where she and the group was. "AVALANCHE!" Akiko shouted. The group panicked as Akiko shouted again. "SCATTER!" She yelled as the group did just that. The group ran away from the Avalanche to no avail. Ercole smirked. "Well, that should teach that piccola ragazza to mess with me." He said as he and the Assassins flew away. Akiko and the group outran the Avalanche for the most part, as the Avalanche was still close behind. The Avalanche caught up to Guido as Guido fell down unintentionally, but immediately got back up and ran. Guido was about to be crushed by the millions of rocks that were falling down. "GUIDO!" Akiko screamed, frightened for Guido. She then saw the Avalanche progressing to crush him. Akiko decided to save him. She used her teleportation ability to run into the Avalanche, behind Guido, and jumped as she pushed Guido and herself to safety as the Avalanche died down.
