Ch. 29: Train Ride Trauma

As Ercolé walked around Smyrna, he saw Akiko and her family and friends. He then saw Luca and Alberto, and decided to watch them. The Konomashīs walked to the Train Station to go back to Japan. The Train Ride that time took two hours instead of one. Ercolé was too slow to get to the Train since the Train had already left. He got upset very easily due to the fact that the Train took off. He then devised an idea to just ride a scooter back to Japan. Ercolé easily found a scooter near by and followed the Train. The Train was faster than Ercolé, so Ercolé couldn't catch up to it, and got frustrated as he threw down the scooter. In the Train, Akiko, Luca, Alberto, and Toby were talking and laughing, along with the others. Akiko saw Ercolé out of the Train's window, and remembered his face. "Uh-oh." She said.
"What?" Luca asked.
"Look out the window, but be careful." Akiko replied. Luca and Alberto looked out the Train's window and saw Ercolé. "Oh, no. That's Ercolé!" Alberto shouted. Akiko looked down in thought as she remembered hearing that name a day or two ago. Alberto had mentioned the name when they encountered Eden. It all made sense, now! Eden, who was a narcissistic bully, reminded Alberto of Ercolé! Akiko gasped as she started talking again. "It makes sense, now! I know who he is! I know what he's trying to do!" She hollered. Akihiko was concerned. "What is it, sweetheart?" He asked.
"Ercolé is wanting to hunt down Luca and Alberto!" Akiko replied as she pointed at Ercolé, who was still out the window, but, that time, he was catching up to the Train. The Train stopped briefly to let the Konomashīs off. After the Konomashīs got off the Train, Akihiko formed a huge, rolling ball that surrounded himself and the other Kids. Akiko's horse, Serenity, was just around the corner, so Akiko, along with Luca, Alberto, Astro, Trollex, and Bella, hopped onto Serenity to escape. Akiko turned Serenity around to face her father. "パパ！" She hollered. Akihiko nodded. "行く！" He replied. Akiko nodded modestly as she turned Serenity back to the front. "Serenity! Let's go!" Akiko yelled as Serenity started running. Bella and Alberto almost immediately fell off. Ercolé was catching up with Serenity as Serenity kicked him back. "Go! Go! Go!" Akiko hollered as Serenity continued running. Due to how fast Serenity was going, Luca started feeling sick, but his sick feeling wasn't that much of an issue to him, so he could fight it off. "Whoa! Who is that guy?!" Astro asked. Akiko didn't hesitate to answer. "That's Ercolé! He's the bloodthirsty binturi that wants to hurt Luca and Alberto!" She replied. Serenity ran through the streets of Smyrna as Ercolé was close behind. Bella saw the enemy and gasped. "Oh, that guy's fast!" She panicked. Akiko then saw a lake nearby and caught an idea. "What do cats and Ercolé have in common?" She asked. Alberto was the first to answer. "Um, they have no souls!" He replied. Akiko nodded with agreement. "That's true with some, but not all cats, what I'm getting at is that they both hate water!" Akiko yelled as she pointed to the lake below.
"Oh." Alberto nodded. Akiko pulled the reigns to the right as Serenity ran to the right. "JUMP!" Akiko yelled as Serenity did just that. As Serenity jumped, Luca, Alberto, Toby, and Bella screamed as Bella's hair turned cyan, indicating shock. Akihiko, from inside the protective bubble, looked out with concern. As did the rest of Akiko's family. In the Lake, Akiko and Bella transformed into Mermaids as Luca and Alberto transformed into Sea Monsters. Trollex held onto Bella's hair. Astro and Serenity just floated in the water. "Is everyone okay?" Akiko asked.
"Yes." Luca said.
"I'm okay." Astro added.
"Sí." Alberto replied.
"Yeah." Bella finished.
"I'm good." Trollex said, still holding onto Bella's hair. Serenity just nickered. Astro swam to Luca, and didn't notice his Sea Monster form. "So what do we-?" He stopped as he saw Luca as a Sea Monster. He screamed as Serenity continually neighed fearfully as she tried swimming to get away. Akiko calmed both Astro and Serenity down. "Astro! Serenity! It's okay! It's Luca and Alberto! I don't think I told you this, but they're both Sea Monsters." Akiko said. Serenity calmed down as she gently swam over to Alberto, who was still a Sea Monster, and nuzzled his freckled, periwinkle cheek. Alberto smiled warmly as Luca laughed. Up in the road, Akihiko's protective bubble popped as Ercolé blocked Akihiko's way. Akihiko, with the rest of the family behind him, walked up to Ercolé as Akihiko's hair turned red, indicating anger. Ercolé smirked. As Akihiko walked up to Ercolé, he scowled. "You will NOT touch my daughter." Akihiko said as he glared. The rest of the family either crossed their arms, rested their hands on their hips, or just stood silently, with glares. Ercolé rested his hands on his hips. "I know that she's the one protecting those disgusting Sea Monster Boys. I might as well assassinate her, too. And when I find those slimy, little Sea Boys, your daughter will be FINISHED." He said. The Konomashī Quints exchanged frightened looks as their hair turned white, indicating fear. Ayako, Ayano, and Akio then became worried as Aino and Aito pouted. Akihiko's hair turned white as Atsuko's hair turned blue, indicating sadness. Ercolé then walked off to his scooter, leaving the Konomashīs standing in fear for Akiko, Bella, Toby, Trollex and the Sea Monster Boys. Moments later, Akito heard Akiko's distant cry from down below. "下へ!" Akiko yelled from the Lake below. When Akito heard the cry, she perked up. "Dad! They're down there!" Akito blurted as she pulled Akihiko's shirt, catching Akihiko's attention. Akihiko, his wife, and the Kids rushed over to where Akiko had led Serenity to jump. "Down here!" Alberto hollered. "Hang on, Kids! We're coming!" Atsuko replied. Akihiko, Atsuko and Akiko's Siblings then flew down to save Akiko, Bella, Luca, Alberto, Astro, Trollex, and Serenity. Akiko saw her Mother, Father, and Siblings. "ママ！ パパ！ きょうだい！" She yelled.
"心配しないでください。 私たちはあなたを助けます!" Akiro hollered back.
"GRAZIE A TUTTI!" Alberto replied. As Atsuko, Akihiko, and the Kids flew down, Akiro picked up Luca and Alberto as Akito picked up Astro. Atsuko picked up Akiko and Bella with Trollex as Aiko used her Levitation power to hoist up Serenity.
