Back in Portorosso, Guido was talking to Ciccio. "Ha, santo mozzarella, we did it." Guido said.
"I knew we would!" Ciccio replied as he bumped Guido's shoulder with his elbow. Guido just chuckled as he watched Luca, Alberto, and Giulia reunited. Luca and Alberto were telling Giulia of the adventure they had with Akiko, Bella, Trollex, Astro, Guido, and Ciccio. "We swam ALL THE WAY to the Pacific Ocean, where we met Akiko the morning after! There was a wire tangling my tail, but Akiko and Luca helped me out!" Alberto said. Giulia was amazed. "She let us stay where she lived until we were ready to come back!" Luca added.
"How did you guys manage to get back?" Giulia asked.
"Well, that's a long story." Alberto laughed.
"Go ahead! You can tell! I'll listen!" Giulia replied. Guido smiled and looked at the ground, noticing a photo that Akiko took with her camera. The photo was from when they were in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It consisted of Akiko and her group close together in a cluster, all smiling excitedly. Guido picked up the photo and noticed that Luca and Alberto already had a copy of the same photo. Seconds later, he came to the conclusion that Akiko must have dropped her copy in Portorosso as they left. "Hey, Ciccio, I'm going to visit Akiko again." Guido said.
"What is it now? Something wrong?" Ciccio was confused.
"No. I just want to return this to her." Guido replied as he held up the photo. Ciccio nodded as he wished his friend a safe trip back to Tokyo, Japan. Guido waved to his friend as he hopped onto a boat nearby and started it's motor. Giulia quickly ran to the boy in the boat. "Wait, Guido, where are you going?" She asked.
"Tokyo. I have something to give to Akiko." Guido said as he drove his boat near the Pacific. It took a about seven hours for Guido to get to Tokyo, but eventually, he made it. The evening had just begun as Guido made a silhouette in the sunset sky. Akiko, Bella, Trollex and the other Konomashīs were still at the Shore as Akiko looked over the Ocean to see a boat. The figure in the boat seemed chillingly familiar. Akiko ran nearer than she was to the Shore as Guido stopped his boat right in front of Akiko and hopped off the front. Akiko back up just a bit, but it was enough to give Guido room to stand. The girl was curious. "Guido? What- what are you doing here?" Akiko asked. Guido just smiled as he pulled the photo out of his pocket. "You dropped this." The Italian boy said. Akiko couldn't believe it! She modestly took the photo from Guido's hands and examined it carefully. Tears filled Akiko's eyes as her hair turned hot pink, indicating affection. The girl hugged Guido and held him close. "Thank you!" Akiko exclaimed. Guido hugged Akiko back, smiling warmly. Atsuko was curious. "Who are you, boy?" She asked with a calm, kind tone. Akiko released Guido from the hug as she held his hand. "My name is Guido. I'm from P-Portorosso, Italy. I'm- I'm sorry if I caused any trouble." Guido said.
"No! Not at all! You caused no trouble!" Akihiko protested to Guido's questionable remark. Guido was relieved. "Did you help Akiko and her friends on their journey?" Atsuko asked. Guido just nodded respectfully. Atsuko and Akihiko were elated! "Thank you for helping our 妹! We appreciate it a lot." Akiro said shyly, yet sincerely. Guido smiled in reply. He turned to see the sun setting. "I guess I have to go, now. It was nice meeting you all." Guido said.
"You can visit any time!" Akiko replied. Guido smiled thankfully as he climbed back into his boat and waved goodbye one last time to the Konomashīs. He then drove away to his home.
