"Charon tells me you brought him a shade," the man in black kneels down to look at me as I crouch under the table, "He said it with the purpose of extracting a coin, as he said you brought the shade without one. Is that true?"

I shrug. What if he gets mad at me?

"That was very nice of you, to help them find their way," he says, "Do you think you could do that for me? And I would pay you, and let you eat all you like?"

I nod, eagerly.

"What made you find that particular shade?"

"Sh—s-h-e—she—she was –she was---she was—she was---lost," I say, wincing as I do.

"Yeah they get like that, if they're strongly tied to someone who is back there. oD you think you could go and find them, and bring them to me or Charon?"

I nod.

"There's a good boy."
