"How many more hours of sunlight do we have left do you think?" I ask, running back into the main house. It's late in the afternoon and the sun is dipping dangerously close to sea.

"Three hours, forty seven minutes, and twenty-two seconds, why?" the man is looking at what looks like satellite feed on his laptop.

"Perfect!" I say, eagerly, "Can I use your roof?"

"I mean---yes?"

"Excellent," I run outside to go climb on the roof.

"You're really going," Cally asks, following me.

"Yes---thank you so much for the help but---I have some wrongs to make right," I say, pausing, "And I have to find my dad."

She nods, then quickly kisses my cheek.

"Take care," I say, then I climb up the roof of the stucco mansion.

"Why did you ask? Do you need more sunlight?" the man followed us.

"No! That'll be good!" I call, putting my goggles on. Then I strap on my jetpack. And wings.

This had better work.

And if it doesn't.

It's going to be one hell of a ride.

I take a running start, praying my jetpack will fire up. It does, bursting eagerly to life.

"Yes!" I shout it as I ascend into the sky. The sun's heat burns on my skin, but it's giving the solar panels energy.

I unfurl the wings strapped to my arms. Yes. I can glide. And save the motor. I can see helicopters hovering over the Labyrinth now. Teddy is almost through. My timing should be just right.

Next stop, the control tower.
