"It's an earthquake," Ariadne grabs my arm and Maya my other one. We've been directing traffic for the police whom we called. No sign of Metion and Viktor. Minos is super dead. We sent police to the Labyrinth as well but no sign of Teddy yet.

"Do these happen often?" I ask gripping her arm tightly. Please don't let it be who I think it is.

"No!" Ariadne says.

"Do something," Maya pleads.

"I ---" I have no idea what I can do. The ground rocks harder. The walls begin to crack and we are nearly thrown from our feet.

"We need to—" Ariadne looks around. I do have to do something. I have to do something.

"Here," Maya tugs a bottle of ambrosia from her bag, "Do whatever you can."

"It's going to take everyone," I say, taking a deep breath. I take the bottle and hold it out to Ariadne, "Please. Trust me."

"I trust you," she takes it and takes a long swig, then she kisses my lips, "Go crazy."

I take both of their arms and pull. I feel the energy everywhere, through everyone as they slowly submit to me. and as the ground cracks in two beneath us, vines start lacing across it, pulling it back together.

I feel giddy. I haven't been this high since my last rave. And now I have somewhere to channel it.

Hours pass. The ground continues to rock. I become aware of everyone in the compound singing and dancing around us, drinking, tripping on the grape vines that overtaking the building, holding it together even as the ground threatens to rip it apart.

"Thank you," I whisper, realizing my eyes and skin are glowing with the heat of it. Ariadne is still holding my arm, she smiles at me. That's all I need.

The ground stops. I don' t know how long it takes, but it does. The dancers fall slowly to the floor. I took all their strength. They'll have nasty hang overs but they're alive. The sun is well up by now.

"Okay," Maya stares at the floor which is mostly made up of vines, "Good job."

"Yeah, nice," Ariadne says, taking a deep breath, "Okay. Let's get out of here."

"Yeah, let's go," I say, nodding, as I stand. I feel fine. I've never felt better actually.

"Hey um—you look different?" Ariadne looks at me.

"He levels up when he gets super high," Maya says, patting my chest, which is no longer sunken with malnourishment.

"Okay. Let's go---home right? My dad's helicopter is still up there, hopefully," Ariadne says.

"Yeah, let's go," I agree, "We'll find the others—later. Let's leave the scene of the earthquake vine-attack. Do either of you know how to fly a helicopter?"

"No."

"I'm sure we can google it."

"Yeah lets."
