Teddy

It's getting late. And I'm not at all alone in here. That feels worse I think. What is it? Minos himself come to hunt me down? What happened to the others? Why haven't I encountered anyone else in here? Is it the other players? Did they get guns and instructions to hunt me? And what sort of sick game is this? I don't want to play anymore.

I want to win.

I will win.

I will make it through this maze. And I will walk into that arena. And will show them that I made it. And someone will have to give me answers. And I will win this stupid contest. And I'll find out whose bones those were. And I'll expose Minos as the criminal and kidnapper he is. I can't give up now. I can't. They're all counting on me. Someone needs to make it out. And it looks like it's going to be me.

I hold the dagger in my hand. Glass? How can it possibly do me any good? I don't know. But it feels nice and cool in my grip. Far away I hear the waves crashing against the rocks. That brings me some comfort somehow. The ocean is there. Out there. And this is another night. And I'll walk all night. Viktor said the arena was at least another day's walk. Well. I might as well get going. It's not like I would be able to sleep here on the ground anyway.

Dagger in hand, I forage on. The purple trail eventually leads me back to Ariadne's green one. I do actually run into a few puzzles. Nothing terribly complicated. Almost like the real challenge is somewhere else.

Lurking.
