Waking up I realized extremely quickly that it's my day to make lunch and I completely forgot! I jumped out of bed and grabbed my clothing for the day from my closet.

"Sweetie-Fudge Cakes!!!" I stubbed my toe on my bed, squealing in pain. "Wake up. An hour till we leave," I hissed the words on my way to the bathroom. I showered and got dressed, not bothering to do my hair or makeup. With damp hair I rushed down the stairs to the kitchen, pulling out the lunch boxes that I used on my days. Throwing two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches together and cutting them in heart shapes I put both in sandwich bags, one in my sisters lunch, the other one in Macy's. Then I made Sam a nasty bologna sandwich and proceeded to make myself and Devon grilled cheese. My parents are kind of big on always having snacks so during the grilling I put an apple in all the lunch boxes along with a bottle of orange juice and a trail mix package. By the time I finished cooking and packing the lunches around fifteen minutes before we needed to leave.

Good I can put makeup on! I was about to go back upstairs when arms wrapped around my waist, and I felt lips graze my shoulder. My lips parted slightly to moan. Devon took the chance to kiss me. Our lips gently danced, my body turning to mold into his.

"Eh! None of that!" My father snapped walking over to get coffee.

"Sorry sir," Devon mumbled, and I took my opportunity to sneak back upstairs, finishing getting ready. On my way back down I picked up Devon's bag and as soon as I hit the bottom landing he took it from me.

Slipping it on his shoulders, he took my hand and pulled me back into the kitchen, where my bag was, along with the lunches. I went to go pick up the five boxes, but was stopped by Mr. Insistent. Of course Devon had to be egotistical and be the perfect boyfriend. My eyes rolled as I turned away from him.

Huffing, I grabbed my bag and called Jasmine downstairs. She looked like she just woke up and got dressed in the dark. But she also didn't look like she cared. She came down anyway despite her lack of modernized standards set on women. Not exactly like her.

On our way outside I noticed that the sky is gray and it might rain. I love rain, when it's just rain. Any other bit like snow or lightning or flooding, I don't particularly enjoy.

In the car I was still upset with Devon for not letting me carry the lunches. So I played a bratty girlfriend and turned away from him and had my arms folded across my chest, completely ignoring him. After a silent car ride, I slipped out of the car, and walked in step with my sister.

Jasmine gave me an odd look before laughing.

She glanced behind her before stating. "Not today Satan! Romeo looks really upset. Go fix this problem, or else you might not see him for a while."

I suppose she was right. I'm being mean aren't I? The best thing to do right now is just go and apologize for being a child. I turned around, but it was too late to talk in private, he had himself surrounded by jocks and mainstream girls, most of which were seniors who shamelessly flirt with my boyfriend. Devon flashed a grin toward a brunette with a flower crown.

Hurt slapped me so hard I stumbled back a little. Then jealousy took a swing my direction. Turning away I fought every bone in my body from going and ripping her apart for looking at my man. Instead I stomped into the building, channeling my jealousy into anger.

I went the whole morning ignoring my soulmate. First period was brutal. He touched my thigh, sending that amazing spark like it did the first time we met, but I yanked it away before he could make me forgive him.

Kaitlyn. Baby. Over me not wanting you to do any work?

My glare made him shut up. After that I wanted him that much more. His eyes watched me the rest of the period and I just took notes ignoring his sweet innocent bewilderment.
