I left Leah's deep in thought I guess I have to trust Leah and Negan I mean I already trust Negan with my other kids so what's the difference between them and Darla none is more important than the next I love them all equally. I walked home and through the door.

"Oh hi honey where'd you go?"

"Went to Negan's to see Leah and find out what is going on."

"Oh leave them alone they're trying to find themselves out I know Negan didn't expect to have a woman and child stay with him but you know he's not a bad guy."

"What if he starts again and starts taking wives."

"Well, there are worse men to be married. If I was single without kids sure I would've been one of his wives."

"You'd rather be someone's whore than one man's wife?"

"No but if I had to choose between struggling or a life of luxury I know which I'd choose. I'm not stupid."

"So, you're not happy with me and our boring life?"

"Did I say that? No but if I was with Negan and offered to be his wife well sure. Why are we arguing about this I know my limitations Daryl. I'm not a fighter like Carol or Michonne. I highly doubt Negan would have what I love but if I had to save you I'd do it."

"I'm glad he can't do that anymore because you're mine, I'd take an iron to the face than share you."

"That's romantic in a Dixon kind of way. I'd never pick anyone but you I love you silly. Negan doesn't do anything for me. Not like you do."

"Thank you babe. Did I tell you that I had a flash of a memory last night of you in a blue dress, you looked like a sexy bride."

"Yes I was a sexy bride for my sexy husband. Five weeks can't go quick enough."

"You sure you want more of these, like this one Shawna come here. In a couple of days your sister will be staying with us in a few days."

"We're having Darla, that's okay but next time can you ask me so I can plan accordingly."

"No planning needed Darla can sleep on the couch until I can make her a bed for Shawna's room."

"How do you know that you can make furniture?"

"Yeah I made all the kids beds and I've got to eventually make us a bed if it was in older days I could do a whole house full of furniture."

"You know how much I love you, you're coming back babe I told you that you would with time."

"Yes you did."

A week later

I'm headed to Leah's to collect Darla for our first sleepover, I've been keeping my eyes on Leah and Negan making sure Darla is safe and happy. Leah and Negan seem to getting along I'm jealous of their relationship I bet they're having lots of sex Samantha and I are still on the sex ban for another two weeks so I guess I'm just jealous of anyone in the town that's having sex, the only person who's probably got it worse than me is probably Aaron as there's no other gay men here unless a gay man came from Hilltop. I shouldn't complain I mean Samantha does look after me but the last couple of times the kids have disrupted us and when she's finished looking after the kids the mood is ruined. Maybe tonight will be better or I should just let it go until Samantha's allowed to again.

"Hey sweetheart you ready to go to my house?"

"Yes daddy." We headed back home. "Do you know how to skip daddy? Uncle Negan showed me how."
