Two weeks later

Samantha

We are finally starting to get back to our former lives before we got married, we sort of had a mini vacation as we had a stop two weeks later as one of the wagons needed fixing so Daryl did that, while I decided to spend most of the day in my lab I was trying to follow dad's instructions to make a vaccine, I am trying to understand it but I'll figure it out. I decide to see what Eugene is doing as he's tinkering around behind me.

"Need help Eugene?"

"Nah, I'm just trying to fix this ham radio, strengthen the signal so we can reach hilltop and the kingdom."

"Oh, okay if you need help just holler."

"So, how's married life? I heard something about you and Daryl. I'm not sure if you want to know though."

"Married life is really good. What have you heard?"

"Well, I was at the tavern a few days ago and I swear I wasn't eavesdropping but that asshole Gavin he was telling the guys he lives with that they should hang in his room during the day as he said you two were giving a good performance."

"Oh fuck I can't tell Daryl that he'd want to kill him."

"He doesn't need to know. Just don't play outside again."

"But, I'm supposed to tell my husband everything."

"But sometimes you can keep secrets if it's for the best."

"No I think he should know. I'll tell him at dinner tonight."

Later that night

I cooked dinner it was our last night before Carol is expected to return. Since Daryl was still out while dinner was cooking in the oven I decided to take a bath, as I ran the water I undressed and looked at my body, my breasts look fuller but I didn't understand why, maybe I need to not eat so much, I don't want to get fat. I'm soaking when I heard the door open and close, and Daryl walking up the stairs.

"Honey, I'm home."

"In the bath Daryl." I see him at the doorway.

"Is there room in there room for two?"

"You sure you want to? It okay if you don't and have a shower instead." He starts to undress, I love to watch him undress I was surprised when he walked to the bathtub stepping into it behind me. "It's going to be squishy in here."

"I don't care. I just want to be near you. You have a nice day?"

"Would've been better with you around."

"You missed me huh?"

"Yeah a little bit. But got to get used to it because this isn't really life is it. I mean we have to work I need to figure out this vaccine and you're needed here. I'm sure that we can work on a routine so we can do both."

"Babe we'll figure it out. But good thing is we don't have to really worry about work if we want time alone we just do it."

"Sounds nice. Babe I need to tell you something. Ah we had peepers on us when we were outside."

"We did? Well they'll never see us again. Your body is only for me and mine is for you."

"Yeah we should probably stick to the bedroom." I felt his lips on my skin and his hands on my breasts it felt good but it was uncomfortable too, too sensitive maybe Daryl has been too rough with them. "Babe it hurts not so rough." He takes his fingers off my nipples and just cups them.
