The next day

Samantha

I woke up another day here in the Commonwealth, I'm liking it here perfect place for people who want to get away from things. I don't have enough for the full town they never said there was a small town where they estimated five thousand but after a proper headcount there's fifty thousand here, I don't know why we aren't living here they've got running water, electricity and real stores. I've enjoyed my time here, I miss Daryl and Shawna especially Shawna, I see all these babies here in the town, it makes me realize that my daughter is so far away, and these two I'm carrying are growing as they should, they've made sure I'm eating to make sure my babies are gaining weight as they should. It's so weird here when I arrived they said that they set up an account so if I needed anything I could get it. I've been working in their labs here helping to replicate more of the vaccine so they can do the entire town.

I'd did my usual routine and headed outside, as I did the babies kicked I ran a hand over my belly. I headed to the labs as I heard what sounded like a bike, I was wishing it was Daryl and that I was home but knowing I can't really go back, not like this not pregnant with someone else's babies, I haven't decided if I'm even keeping them as I heard that they have people here couples that want children and can't have them, the people that adopt them might be able to love them more than I ever could how can I? They weren't created in love they were created as part of a hate crime.

I was wandering around the town, I know the way to go but was enjoying the early morning, I couldn't believe my eyes as I'd know the butt anywhere, do I turn around and ignore him, it must be important for him to be here. I decided that let's get this over and done with, he should be home looking after our daughter instead of coming here.

"Daryl? What are you doing here?" He looks at me and I can see the shock in his eyes.

"Could say the same thing about you. What the fuck? You're pregnant!"

"I'm working as you can see the town is bigger than anything we've ever seen."

"But But But you're pregnant."

"Yeah, I am. Not much I can do about it. I told you those tablets wouldn't work like you thought they would. Nothing is ever that good."

"So what are you gonna do? Stay here instead of coming home."

"Well, I see your eyes work. I have work to do Daryl, maybe we can talk about this later."

"No, we are going to talk about this now. Is there somewhere we can talk?"

"I guess so, I'm really not in the mood to fight." I turned and walked away from him even though every fiber of my body wants to throw my arms around his neck and kiss him. I led him back to my house.

I left Alexandria and it took me a day to get to the Commonwealth but I'm here to find my wife and bring her home. I went down the Main Street and parked no idea where to start looking for my wife but I was shocked when I looked to my left she's standing there looking beautiful as ever I looked down and can see her large rounded belly, oh fuck she's pregnant.

"Daryl? What are you doing here?" What she doesn't want me here well guess what I'm not leaving until you come home but she's pregnant fuck me.

"Could say the same thing about you. What the fuck? You're pregnant!"

"Well, I see your eyes work. I'm working as you can see the town is bigger than anything we've ever seen."

"But But But you're pregnant." Oh god, those tablets didn't work, why didn't she tell me that she's pregnant I would've come sooner.
