Chapter 6

Maria/Manchiro POV

I was in class listening to the teacher teach the class about maths while drinking water as the door opened.

"Puhhhhhh." The water flew out of my mouth as my brother strolled in without a care in the world like he owned the place.

Wasn't he supposed to get Takemichi? Why is he here?

"Hey Maria. Me and Draken are hanging out. Wanna come with us?" Mikey said as I looked to Draken in shock and absurdness.

He simply shrugged his shoulders as I shook my head.

"Math's my favorite class. I can't miss it." I said as Mikey pouted.

"Do you know where Takemichi's class is then?" Brother asks me as I think for a moment. Everyone else was just silent as they watch me interact with my twin.

They call me Senpai as I'm older than them because I was held back in school. I was supposed to be held back for two years but was smart enough due to my previous life to just be only held back for a year.

"If I'm not wrong.... he should beeeeee..... upstairs right above my class." I said after squinting for a bit.

"Thanks sis! Baji says he wants to go on a date with you tomorrow!" He said leaving as I yell at him for saying that out loud.

"Bye." Draken said as he followed my brother.

"Sano Senpai has a boyfriend?"

"That's too bad. She's cute though."

"Her mouth was like a merlion spitting out water just now."

"Bruh." I groaned, thinking of how to get back at Mikey later. Perhaps I should take his Dorayaki.

Everyone else was whispering as the teacher slammed the table to get us to be silent again.

Mikeyyyyyyy, I'm not going to cook or make anything for you ever again.

The next day,

"Yo." Baji gives me his trademark smile as I walked out of school. His long hair was in a ponytail but he left his bangs to the side and was wearing a black bomber jacket with some jeans and a white shirt.

"Have fun!" Aoda and my best friend Fuyuka said to me before leaving.

They were in the same class as me so they have heard of what Mikey said. Being friends, they have made me dress up for Baji.

I had gone on so many dates with Baji but the two girls had made me put more effort into looking good for him.

He blinked at the outfit I was wearing and looked closer at my face as I tried shrinking away from him. My school uniform was in my backpack as he bent down to my height.

"Is that gloss? Maria, where's my welcome kiss?" He asked as I pushed his lips away as I started walking ahead due to my red face.

He looks at my hairstyle that Aoda and Fuyuka had done for me the whole time during lunch break.

I had hissed at them when they touched my hair but I didn't want to hurt them. Perhaps I should let Emma tie my hair next time.

"My lovely girlfriend has put some effort into dressing up for me!" Baji says as I walk faster, ignoring the glances of the people who heard what Baji said.

"It makes me happy." Baji said as he caught me by my hand and twisted me around so I was facing him.

He bent down to kiss me as I pinched him in the stomach as he winced a bit at the pain.

"Come on. My treat today." He said, guiding me to his bike as he brought us to a barbecue shop for lunch.

Hours later,
I brushed my finger through his long hair as his head was in my lap. We were sitting on a patch of grass as it was night.

After lunch, he had brought me to watch a movie and ate ice cream. Then we had rode on his motorbike before coming here.

A firework exploded in the sky as more came.

"It's pretty." I said as Baji looked up at me from my lap. "Not as pretty as you." He said as I remained silent, looking at the sky which was adorned with the bright and colorful fireworks.

"Manchiro?" He called out to me, using my real name. I looked down at him as he pulled my face down and kissed me.

"!"

I panicked for a moment but calmed myself as we enjoyed the moment.

He traced my lips as he pulls back.

"Today was fun wasn't it?" He asked as I nodded my head mutely as he pulls me in for another kiss.

He nuzzled his face against my neck as he kissed my neck gently just before he sucks on my skin.

"Baji!" I gasped out, people are going to see me with a hickey, he doesn't hold back as I give up after some time.

"You piece of shit!" I cursed at him as he pulls back from my neck and starts laughing at me.

"I just want to show you love." He said as I tried kicking him but he dodges as I screech softly in embarrassment.

"That's just dumb. Like how you were hungry once and you lit a car on fire." I whispered to myself as he scoops me up and carry me to his bike.

"When we get married, I'll leave more all over your body." He said as I opened my eyes and he gives me a wink as I feel my soul left my body.

Half an hour later,

Mikey:💢💢

Emma just stares at me and Baji as Baji's hands were still intertwined with mine.

"You said you would return my sister by 9pm!" Mikey yells at Baji with a irk sign as Baji ignores him as he kisses my cheek.

"It's 10pm for God's sake! I nearly called Toman to search for you two as you weren't answering your calls!" Mikey said as Baji zoomed out but not before giving me his smile as Mikey fumed.

"Our phones ran out of battery." I said. Technology is so backwards in this era and world...I miss the phones and internet in 2021 of my original world.

I sign as Mikey starts chiding me out as Emma smacks him on the back.

"Leave elder sister out of this." She said as she blushed a bit before shuffling towards me till she sees the hickey on my neck.

She gasps but I place my hand over her mouth to shut her up. Mikey would smack the daylights out of Baji if he sees it.

"What are you two doing?" He asked as I made sure Emma's head covered my neck from his point of view.

"Nothing! We're discussing boy problems!" I yelled to Mikey as he walks away disgusted.

Mikey is so dumb sometimes.

"You have to keep this a secret." I said to Emma.

She whistles for a bit as she thinks for a moment.

"Well then, I guess you owe me a favor." Emma said as she hops away before I can say no.

Awwwwwwwwww, screw Baji's dead ass, I hate him.
