Maria POV A few days later, Takemichi calls me to talk to him as he waits for me outside school. He brings me to his house as I made myself comfortable on the mat.
"So what do you want to talk about?" I asked him as he looks at me straight in the eyes. "The future you wants me to start planning with you on how to turn the future into a good one." He said as I pretended to be calm as I had my poker face on.
"Takemichi... did Osanai hit you too hard in the head and you're still not recovering well?" I ask him as he continues looking determined at me.
"No, the safe code is Baji has a nice ass." He says with a straight face as I look at him disgusted.
What the absolute f**k.
"Hey! Don't look at me like that! The future you told me to tell you this if you don't believe me! She even said that you're scared of lightning and that only your elder brothers know." He said as I stopped having a disgusted face.
Never mind. Baji does indeed has a nice ass but I can't believe my elder self would tell Takemichi this secret information.
I sign as I look at him. "Please Maria! The future is terrible!" He said as I signed motioning for him to carry on.
Two hours later, I left the house as I see Hina outside the house. She looks at me with a teary face as she rushes inside Takemichi's house.
Wow, what a weird girl.
Takemichi's information is quite interesting..... the fact that I became a godmother of the mafia along with Aoda and Fuyuka. They were my right and left hand women. Baji was dead as Mikey had killed him.
Takemichi doesn't know why and I had lost the child me and Baji had in a miscarriage. He died and we could no longer have children. The doctors and nurse didn't even let me see my dead child....
As the godmother of the mafia, I aided Mikey in many crimes. Who would have thought I would go down that path ?
I walked around the corner of Takemichi's house as I walked into a broad chest as I fell to the ground.
"Oww." I emit as I rub the part of my back that had hit the ground. My butt was hurt too.
I looked up at the person who I bumped into only to see a pair of hazel eyes looking back at me.
It was Baji.
"Ah sorry. Did I hurt you?" I asked him as I quickly stood up. He looked at me with a cold look as his hand travelled to my shoulder.
"What were you doing in that guy's house? If you're gonna say study together. You two are in different grades. That isn't going to work on me." He said as his grip on my shoulder become a bit tighter.
"We were supposed to go on a date and you went off with that fucker. Maria, you didn't do what I think you did, did you?" He asked me as his taller figure hovered over me.
Oh crap, I forgot about the date, my memories are getting worse. It's just like what Takemichi said about my elder self. She was having bad memory already.
I pulled Baji's hand as we walked quickly. "Where are we going for today?" I asked him as he pushed my hand away. "Tell me what you were doing in there with him just now." He said as he cornered me against a wall.
" He says he has a feeling Draken may die. So he came to talk to me about it." I said as Baji looked a bit startled. "Did you think... I was cheating on you?" I ask him as he looked away confused by what I said.
"I would never. There's only one person I would love and marry and that's you." I said as I hugged him from behind. His body tensed as I hugged him.
Our future child died and Mikey killed him. Why? I sniffed as Baji turns around panicked as he wipes my tears away. Why?
Why is the future so terrible? We don't say a word as he carries me to his bike as I hug him tightly as he drove me back to my house.
"Maria-" I hear Emma speak but she was cut off as Baji walks past her and opens my bedroom door and places me back on my bed. "I don't know what happened but I'm still here for you." He said as I hiccuped and held onto his jacket.
"Stop sniffing already. You're making me feel bad." He said as I nodded. I had stopped crying some time ago. "I can't tell you yet... but I'll tell you in time." I said as Baji gave a sign.
"So as long as you didn't do anything with that guy... I'm fine with you." He said as he brushed my hair from my face.
The door to my bedroom slammed open as Mikey stood outside. "I heard you made Maria cry... Baji." My brother said with a calm look as I grabbed onto Baji.
"No no, he did nothing wrong. I just heard something terrible, it's nothing, brother." I said as Mikey looks at us hesitantly. He looked like he wanted to say something but he just shook his head and left as my head lay in Baji's lap.
I had panicked just now because I heard from Takemichi that Mikey will kill Baji. Seeing them both together just now... set my button off. Was it because of Kisaki that Baji was killed?
Baji stroked my hair gently as I laid on the bed.
"Feeling better yet?" He asked after some time, "yes..." I murmured as he signed.
"Look, I don't know what that punk said to you, but you still have to tell me in the future." he said,squishing my face as I pinched his ass. "What the f**k." He curses as I giggled, "It's rather nice to touch." I said between giggles as he signs.
"Come on, let's go out."
"Where too?"
"Our date, you dumbo."
I simply smiled as I followed him out.
