Grace's POV

Almost everyday for the past twenty years, Beau's been right. I don't have a problem admitting that Beau's right, but he was so right about this one. Noah hasn't messed around in weeks, he's cleaning the house, and Tucker, I almost want to rinse my mouth out than say it but Tucker's been a perfect child.

Sage hasn't introduced us to her friend yet, but tonight we're meeting him and Tanner's coming home to see us and I'm so happy to see my boy. I almost cried when he called me and told me he officially had a girlfriend and that I would love her. I'm so excited to meet her, truly, and he told me she's been through a lot, but I'm ready to meet her.

So now I'm putting on one of my favorite black jumpsuits with Beau wearing his nice Cowboys dress shirt and khaki pants. I pull it over my bra before moving my butt back to Beau.

"Will you zip me and tie the backside?" I ask him moving my long brown hair out of the way. He finishes slipping his shoes on before grabbing the zipper and pulling it up. He then takes the straps when I freeze and feel his chin on my shoulder.

"Why is this so loose? It fit when you wore it a few months ago." he tells me as I sigh.

"Beau I don't know. All my clothes are falling off and I keep losing weight and I don't know why." I tell him. Hey holds my hips to his and rubs my very flat stomach as I sigh. I look like I used to, the Grace before Beau. The Grace who was starved and the weak Grace.

"Have you not been eating? What's wrong?" he asks me as I look into the mirror at his handsome face. I never get sick of looking at him, I really am still in love with my high school sweetheart.

"I eat fine, I take care of myself, I just don't know and I haven't told you yet because I'm so worried but, my grandma Beau. She lost at least thirty pounds before being diagnosed with cancer. Then my mom died with the same thing, and-" I go to tell him as he pulls me into his chest. I hold his shoulder blades as he rubs my back and comforts me.

"Hey, hey stop" he tells me as I feel my tears whelp. "I'm not old. Sure we got married super young but I don't feel old Beau. I'm so scared." I whisper out to him.

"We'll make a doctors appointment, we won't tell the kids, just us and we'll go and see why. It might be menopause or something. Don't assume the worse." He tells me as I nod. I hug him closer as he rubs my head.

"Might I add, you're definitely still the hottest woman to walk the planet." He whispers making me smile as I kiss his lips and he wipes my face.

"Now let's go get the hellions" he tells me as I laugh and pinch his firm booty making him pull mine closer to him.

"I love you so much. You know our anniversary's in three months, who knew you could deal with my crazy butt so long?" I ask as he smiles and lets go of me before tucking his shirt in as I fix his belt buckle.

"Honey you're a MILF, and you happen to make a mean lasagna." he tells me as we both start laughing.

"For real though, I know you've been going through a lot and I talked with your boss and I'm taking you away for a weekend without the kids. Tanner said he'd stay with them since he doesn't have a game that week, and I think his new girl might stay too." he tells me as I nod. As long as all the kids are together they should be fine. I trust Sage and Tanner to do the right things.

I finish my look with small heeled wedges and small pearl earrings before Beau tells me I look beautiful.

"I'm excited, now let's go meet this boy." I tell Beau as he rolls his eyes, and drags my hand in his. We just decided to rent out a small room in a local fancy restaurant so that I didn't have to cook and Sage already left to go meet Drake there. Tanner's apparently driving there now, and Tucker and Noah are sitting on the couch ready to go when Beau and I come out.
