Grace's POV

"Ready to go?" Beau asks from behind me holding my bags. We're finally going away together and I have no idea where he's taking me but I'm so excited.

"Got everything?" He asks again as I nod and he takes the bags to the car. I triple check the list for Ellie and Tanner before handing it to her.

"So here's the passcodes to the house. They should be fine, they're grown but they're also irresponsible. If that makes since. I'm trusting you Ellie because all of my children are hellions." I tell her as she laughs at me. Tanner glares at my head holding her hips as she laughs.

"Grace we'll be fine with them. Nothing is going to go wrong. I'll be you while you're not here, I'll even fuss at Tanner." She tells me hugging me as I hug her back. She's beautiful and perfect for Tanner. She's amazing and we call and talk every single day, I'm just glad our anniversary fell on the same day that the fall break was and Ellie and Tanner have ten days away from college.

"They'll be fine. I love you both. Tanner" I tell him as he hugs me. I pull from him and hug Noah and kiss his cheek before doing the same to Tucker and Sage.

"Be good, or else." I tell them all as they nod and wave me off. Beau comes back and gives out hugs before pulling me to the car.

"Have a nice trip!" Ellie tells us waving from our front door before Tanner closes it and I hear her scolding him for, "Shutting the Damn door on his mama."

Beau holds my hand as he takes me to the car and opens the door. He pulls out of the driveway as I look back down the street over the fencing and see Sage doing cannonballs into the swimming pool. I smile as I see Tanner follow her with all the boys and then Ellie. It's only November, but the weather is still hot as hell in the south and watching them swim, knowing that they're okay, it makes me feel okay.

"We have security cameras baby" Beau tells me as I nod. I know we do, and I know I can watch any room in the house if I really wanted to.

"I know but I'm just worried. We haven't left them alone since before everything happened and now with Ellie there, I trust her and all but what if they don't get along after a few days or I come back and they have thrown a party or something?" I ask him as he holds my hand in his.

"We can watch the cameras from my phone. I promise it's fine Grace. We can't shelter them and never let them live. They will be fine baby, this weekend is about us." He tells me as I nod. It is, it's about celebrating our anniversary for the first time in years.

"So where are we going?" I ask holding his hand. He made me pack two suitcases so that I wouldn't be able to tell where we were going. One for cold weather and one for warm weather, so I'm ready for whatever is in store for me.

"Well, the first part we're going to Paris. So you can finally see that big tower thing and then we're going to fly over to New England, then we're finishing it in the Bahamas. Nine days, two in each and one for travel. What do you day?" He asks me as I instantly smile as wide as I can. He really does care, and after all these years he never ceases to amaze me with the man he is. Beau's the absolute love of my life and their isn't a person on this earth I'd rather spend this with.

Beau's true to his word about the whole trip. He takes me to Paris, and New England and now he's sitting shirtless next to me in our little villa in the Bahamas. I called the kids everyday we have been gone, but today's about celebrating our anniversary. We got married one hour from now.
